When I first saw those pictures yesterday of Rob and TomStu driving the vintage 60′s muscle car honestly, Cheech and Chong popped into my head. I SWEAR. This is in spanish because I couldn’t find it in english, but it’s the driving scene with cheech and chong that we all remember. I saw this in high school stoned like everyone else saw it and it was a lot funnier THEN than it is now….but still…..when he ends up stopped and thinks he’s still driving and the cop taps on his window……oh my god……those were the days……such a stoner…

**LOL** Debbo…You know when I saw the pic JAG posted and the car hopping up and down that is exactly what I thought about….too funny. My brothers and I watched all their movies, and I have to say I like “Up In Smoke” the best.
I can see it….Rob cruising the main blvd there in this fine Muscle car with a really awesome sound system, and some Rap, Hip-Hop, and Van Morrison being cranked out…very loudly.(huge Subwoofers in the back making the car vibrate). As if he doesn’t get enough paps and attention from fans ***LOL*** that car is going to make him stand out even more. Did he buy the car or is it TomStu’s???? Just curious.

He is totally driving a classic 1965 Chevy Nova!!! He must be pretty brave to attempt a car with mad amounts of serious horse power. I’m always reminded of the GQ interview where he was giving a ride to the 2 reporters that met him at a coffee shop in Cali. The reporter riding shotgun said Rob couldn’t figure out how to defrost the window, so the rep had a deathgrip on the door, thinking “My god! We’re all gonna die!” when Rob cut across at least 2 lanes with zero visibility. Gotta love his determination to get them where they needed to go.
He looked so cute in that car…..I just love to see him in the vintage car. He’s my vintage boy….driving the black 1965 Chevy II Nova SS Sport Coupe and wearing the clubmaster ray bans. That’s my man. LOVE YOU ROB!!!!! Did you see the bad ass stereo in the dash? Now THAT was new. My dad used to let me drive his 67 Camaro SS and 69 Chevelle SS around until he discovered that I was using them to lure my male highschool classmates into my web. He thought I just appreciated a classic muscle car. Silly daddy!!!

Yep cars like those are Male-Magnets…..My brother had a 69 Camaro SS….and he had all the chicks he wanted for dates….I had one classic car….I got it from my uncle in his will….it was a 67 Mustang convertable…candy apple red, white leather interior and keystone spoked mags….289 engine…I had it until it got stolen in college….it never was recovered, but what a sweet car.
There is just something about American classic muscle cars….you gotta love them.
In my family a “muscle car” was the VW beetle. LOL I learned how to drive in a rusted out VW beetle with a stick shift. FUCK……
I STILL miss the sound of an old vintage VW beetle. (bug) When I was a baby, they put me behind the back seat and I rode back there. Child seat? pffffttt We didn’t need no stinking child seat…..we just hung on. LOL This sound was a LULLABY to me when I was growing up. I still miss that sound…….it’s such a pretty sound. @Debbo….Yep that car was so sweet…it did have the indentations in the seats….everything on the car was stock…except the Keystone spoke mags that my uncle Mike put on it….
Man let me tell you it was totes awesome….I loved taking it on Spring break with the girls…..we had more men around us than would knew what to do with…I had guys pulling up to me all the time to ask about the car and then give me their phone numbers….Hey I had even learned to do oil changes on her and tuneups….The good ole days when you could work on your own cars…when there were still points, plugs and condensors on cars and not computer brain boxes and everything else computerized.
I had two cousins who built and raced funny cars and three that rode TT Scrambles/Cafe Racing and MotoCross bikes for Team Yamaha…so I was into the fast Car/Dirt Bike scene…..I loved it…let me tell you that is def where tons of HAWT Men are too bb….I grew up with my love of cars and bikes all through middle school and into college….still have the car mojo.
I’m a tomboy on the inside…don’t look like one on the outside but I was always around my two brothers and all my male cousins….I worked on cars and cycles and did barrel racing…..never played with dolls or did the typical girl thing…..I’ve always had a penchant for fast cars….I just sold my Vette a couple of years back, because of the gas it ate….(this is the only newer Chevy I like), and your right…I’ve never been a huge Ford fan except their trucks, but I do like the Mustang. (older ones more so)…I own two Fords….an F150 and an Expedition(for pulling boats) …but I confess to pretty much being a German car fan now.( I also own a limited edition Wolfsburg Passat made in Wolfsburg Germany..it is the Vettes replacement…I wanted to try a VW as my Brother owned a Carminghia VW when I was in middle school). I like Mercedes, and BMW’s, Porsche’s and VW’s….but if I could I’d own all Italian Cars….starting with Bugatti…..I love those….One of these days I’d love to have one of those. I change cars every 2-3 years….I like trying new makes and models. I’ve owned so many cars, but it is one of my weaknesses…I’m not a clothes hound, but cars are something I’ve always gone gaga over.
I’ll have to see If I can dig out a pic of the ole Mustang and let you see it…wow was it a sweet ride.(I have tons of photos and none are organized into albums).
You only live once Debbo….you have to enjoy yourself while your here…maybe you should buy one. If my gargage was bigger…I’d think about another car….I like taking out different stuff all the time…and I love speed.

Like there are certain code names for certain extra disgusting loaded burgers. IDK, my husband knows way more about it than I do. So, Rob, if you’re reading, I can give you his number! LOL
I also loved FatBurger out there. Ahhh, greasy burgers in Cali. Good times.

Went to In & Out when we were in LA last month to see what the fuss was about.
I get it….I’m addicted. I’ve got a 5 Guys that just opened up less than a mile from my house. Guess where I’m having lunch!!!
We have a 5 Guys, but no In-n-Out. And I loves me some In-n-Out. Whenever I go to CA or AZ or Vegas, we always eat at In-n-Out. Yummm. When you don’t get to have something but once a year, it becomes verra special. And once I found out it was Rob’s fav burger, well then it became that much better!

Ahhhhh well I took some new pics of him two days ago, but didn’t post it because of Fluffy’s loss. But since you asked……his legs are growing faster than his body and he’s funny as shit. Still suffering through “attack of the killer ear lobe sucker” moments (but as I dissuade him I get lots of kittie nuzzling FTMFW)……and he’s just so damned cute. I’ll be on the puter in bed reading my fan fiction and he comes and curls up between me and the laptop…he loves the laptop and the laptop pointer moving around and of course the light. He only had the porsche for like 3 days when he crashed it bad. And the ’89 BMW has officially died after the fire on the interstate. I’m not sure whatever happened to the Audi R8 that he drove for a while. I think it may have been a lucky survivor. But at least we know the man’s got style when it comes to Muscle cars.
Personally, I would love more than anything to get my hands on an early 60′s model Mustang!!!

My brother (also named Robert but not NEARLY as cute) drove a Nova for years. It came with an 8-track tape player.
Okay, I have a confession to make, Elvis owns, get this, a 1980 blue and white Lincoln Continental Mark VI with an eighttrack, 4 lighters and 8 ashtrays. Blue fuzzy dice are hanging from the rearview mirror. He’s going to buy a license plate frame that says “pimp mobile” on it. The thing’s a tank, but I don’t drive it, ‘cos whenever I have, the police drive up right next to me, look inside and then start laughing. Elvis can be pimp daddy all by himself. But maybe I’ll start driving the pimp mobile around the vicinity of where Rob was, just to catch his attention. Sound like plan?
Sounds like only thing missing from Elvis’ Lincoln Continental is the horn that plays “dixie”. LOL That car is registered as a land yacht in some states, isn’t it? LOL
LOL! We had a creamy yellow one when I was little…My Dad named all our cars, and it was appropriately dubbed “Yellow Death” for obvious “land yacht” reasons…any lesser of a car would be toast in that behemoths path. And how cool are flip-up headlight covers?

One thing is for sure….he has alot of steele around him in that Lincoln…you don’t have to worry about him too much in that car for safety reasons. I remember how ugly the traffic can be there in Hell-A (my name for LA because of the traffic)…..the only place worse that comes to mind is NYC….the hacks are crazy.
Elvis plays what else…Elvis in his pimp mobile, lol. The suicide doors were in the earlier models, the 1980 doesn’t have them. But it is a solid, solid car. One time Elvis was on the freeway and he said a Toyota came barreling at him, not seeing he was at a full stop. The Toyota was totalled. He said all he felt was his head move forward slightly. Not a scratch on the pimp mobile. And yes, Elvis is quite the character. I love him, but like most husbands, he also drives me crazy on a daily basis. Imagine if he hasn’t gotten rid of that old car, what else has he kept? He’s a huge pack rat and never throws anything away. He reassures me that that philosophy also extends to me, lol.

My dad always drove those big-assed gas guzzlers too: Galaxy 500, Centurian, LTD, Mercury Marquis, Crown Vic (but he took that one back….the seatpan was too short for his long legs).
Best car he ever got was when he went through his “middle-aged crazy” period. He got a brown and gold Trans Am in which I took my driving lessons. Whenever I saw someone from school, I’d tell him to duck while I waved at them!
My dad drove a 77 black Cordoba with leather interior. That thing was MASSIVE (TWSS). When I met the DH, yep, driver of a Cordoba. *gigglesnort* His was white with blue velour interior. Good gods the memories in that car. *winknudge* I think that’s what we miss about those “vintage” cars, girls. LOTS of rollin-around room. I mean, come on. Rob may be able to fold up those wonky-add legs of his. But, I think we’d like it A LOT more if he can make full use of them #ifyaknowwhatimeanandiknowyoudo!!

Think about how crappy our interstates are??? Not enough to really handle the flow of traffic, and god forbid there is a true need for lanes….like hurricane, earthquakes….you aren’t moving anywheres….this is the Infrasturcture I’m referring to…the TransAtlantic line is going to be like the interstates in the USA…..crap by 2014 or 2013 with all the new IPads, 3G-4G phones, a regular internet lines that are truncated off of phone lines and fiber optics for cable tv and satellite tv…..everything runs off of computers today….but there isn’t enough bandwidth to handle it, and it is only getting worse by the day….sadly.

I may or may not have thought about this very thing, like quite often, and even wrote it in my R story, plus more to cum on that, but I think the way to do it would be: Start off while he’s driving and just when you’re sure he’s going to crash, make him pull over, put the emergency break on and give him his happy ending. Oh JAG, I nearly died when I saw these photos of Rob driving a Chevy Nova from the early 1960′s!!! This is just so f*cking cool!!! My first car was a 1974 Chevy Nova! I love the old muscle cars of the 1960s and 1970s! It is just so like Rob to enjoy driving a Classic American Car… !!! Awesome!!! Thank you for this post… !!
And you know what else is priceless about the fact that he’s driving a Nova, No Va is how you say “It doesn’t go or it doesn’t work” in Spanish. I think when that care came out, Chevy had to change the name in Spanish speaking countries, ‘cos they were worried, with a name like that, people wouldn’t buy it, LOL.

You know what I like best? Just look at the smile on his face! Can’t wait for the three-way, Ladies! And I have to share that my BFF’s mom had a Nova just like that (not nearly as nice) that we were scared shitless to get into because it was lacking in the brake department. No sooner would her mom step on the gas, she would start pumping the brakes to slow it down. We still got in it for rides because going to see boys took priority over fear. That car never stopped unless it was parked, and was the one car we never snuck out in. We’d jump out the passenger side while it was still rolling, giving us lots of street cred with the guys…Sorry TomStu, but I’d toss you out at a rolling stop in a heartbeat.
