its such an awesome movie huh? but i wonder if rob has any idea how devastated his fans are at the thought of him dying? glad to know i wasn’t the only messy one after, had to come home and look at some hot pics to remind myself that he was ok!!!!

I totally agree. His relationship with Caroline is so warm and loving. I especially love when Aiden tries to get Ally to come back. Aiden: “There’s only one other girl that he looks at the same way he does you. And she’s a lot shorter than you, and shares his DNA.”

I would definitely have to say that his most intense moment is when he gets in the fight with his father. Just to see him get so passionate and angry really took my breath away. I also agree that the absent father role was over a little too quickly. Maybe for time constraints, but it did resolve a little fast for me. But maybe some people can change. Maybe they can come to the realizations, like when Tyler points out, with such anger, how his father has repeatedly slighted Caroline. And how he continues to call him on it, and finally pays the ultimate price for his actions. Either way, I thought it was such a great movie.

I can honestly say that Remember Me is the most emotional movie that I have seen in ages. I haven’t had a movie get me that emotional since Powder. I feel really drained, but happy right now. I have seen it twice now, and I thought my heart was gonna stop the first time. Tears started to come to my eyes, so I had to bite my lip to keep from turning into a blubbering mess in the front row. Little Ashes and Twilight were tied for my most favorite Robmovies, but Remember Me has just taken the lead right now.

****Talking about Remember me****

Do NOT read if you haven’t seen this movie:

Love the sex scenes. Love the part after the water fight when he gets out of the tub and you see some Robcrack.

Loved Chris Cooper. Loved the comic relief. Loved Ruby and the brother/sister relationship. The tenderness Tyer shows his sister made me love him more. Loved Pierce. Loved the showdown between Pierce and Rob.

Only problem I had was the absent father role and how it was just reslolved after the prank. Growing up with a father like that they generally don’t change. They may change for a few days after a crisis but then it’s the same MO because they don’t know any different. If after Michael’s suicide the dad cut himself off from the family you would expect the same if not more of the same behavior after Tyler’s death. Please don’t thow stones at me for saying this. I am only using my own experiences with how I relate the characters.

I saw new RM today again to do my part in bringing up the box office numbers.

Towards the end of the movie, I could hear everyone in the audience gasp out loud. I hadn’t noticed that yesterday, but it was quite audible today. Only 1 guy in the entire theater today (3 yesterday). The rest were all females, mostly over 30. Interesting demographics, don’t ya think?
