Oh yeah, I forgot to answer about getting balled by Rob…..er I mean, if I’d mind if Rob shaved his head for a role. Like most of us who LOVE HIM….fuck, no I don’t mind. It’ll grow back and he’s sexy with or without it. However, he may have a nervous breakdown without his hair to run his nervous hands through. LOL Am I right?
Well Wifey, maybe he’ll have to find something else to run his hand over, like something a little lower that he could palm and rub when his nerves got the best of him, you know just to take his mind off of the screaming crowds and on to “bigger and better” things! LOL! Oh how I wish he would run his hand over his “bigger and better” thing!
Just got back from Remember Me. The only word that kept coming to mind was “BEAUTIFUL” and not just because of Rob. It really is a very touching movie.
Rob & Emilie were absolutely adorable together. And all perving aside, the love scenes were beautiful too. Took my breath away, really. (OK yeah, I DID absolutely get all tingly down below too, but it was more than that. LOL) I’m so in love with him right now.
No spoilers here I don’t think, I’m being very vague. But wow, I am actually kinda relieved by the ending. Somehow I managed to reverse the events surrounding Tyler and his brother. I was not actively trying to learn anything about this movie beforehand, I just inadvertently got little hints and formulated a possible ending in my head. Figured out I was wrong pretty quickly and I’m kinda glad I was. Honestly, if the events were reversed it would have been harder for me. Still devastating, of course, but for some reason I can deal with this ending better.
My theater was only about 1/3 full on a Friday night 9:30 showing. It was mostly teens & 20-somethings and their boyfriends. Was actually surprised at how many girls’ boyfriends were willing to come with them. LOL I guess they are smart enough to take advantage of their girls getting all hot & bothered by Rob.
It was actually very cool for me to recognize all the scenes I’d seen from the photos. And there were many times where I was the only one in the theater laughing, because I recognized certain moments from the photos and/or just little Rob mannerisms that only us truly Robsessed pick up on. LOL
And to top it all off, we came home to find my hubs’ brother (aka the babysitter) watching New Moon on the computer hooked up to our TV. LMAO I can’t get away from Rob even if I wanted to!
Gonna see what I can do about seeing it again on Saturday or Sunday. It was too slow for my hubs’ attention span, so I’ll have to go alone, but I think I can handle it now.
OK, think I got it all out of my system, so I’ll shut up now. *grin*

On a Remember Me note, I was absoluty awe struck by Robs performance, and I think it’s a movie all Americans and just everyone should see… I am so moved and the ending was so beautifully done… I was sad to see the theatre packed with people who didn’t appeciate the impact that this movie has on world culture… Hopefully word of mouth will get around and more people who appreciate it for more than the ‘hot vampire dood’ will go see it. So incredible.

Part 1: I’ll choose C – I have, for all of my life, preferred very short hair on men, like buzzed short (yet oddly I married a man with long hair to the middle of his back LOL). But Rob shatters that for me. I have never, ever cared about–let alone loved–a man’s hair so much before, but even so, I would not be devastated if he cut it really short. My fave is his Tyler length hair, but I could deal with a buzzcut. Totally bald would be pretty weird, but still not a dealbreaker. LOL

I saw RM last night……..went with a friend who’s a Twivirgin. The theater was packed & you could literally hear a pin drop. So many totally absorbed people it was amazing!!! Everytime someone said something or made a noise the whole theater was like “SHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!” Nobody wanted to miss ONE WORD of the dialog or be taken out of the MOOD! Yes, our Rob was amazing as we all knew he would be.Every word..every facial expression..every emotion was far more than PERFECTION……it was a spiritual experience that I will never forget. You could hear people in the theater holding their breath!! Even my friend who is an incessant gabber couldn’t bring herself to speak!! All I can say is that the whole EXPERIENCE left me breathless. I felt SO PROUD of Rob &his amazing performance!!! I never once felt like I was watching a “movie” but was part of it. We ALL knew that he could do this……now the rest of the world knows too. At the end when I was pulling a tissue out of my purse & handing it to my friend I was smiling & crying @ the same time because I knew that HE just changed HER life too!!!!! The first thing she said after the movie was over was ” Can we go again on Sunday?” Enough said.

I saw the movie yesterday morning(first showing).
And though I was the only one in the theater, I enjoyed it so much….he was amazing! I cried like a baby. The only thing I didn’t like was in the script Micheal died at the first twin towers attack and they changed it to suicide. I thought it was more poignent the other way.
But if anyone says he sucks in this movie their full of shit and just personally attacking Rob….watching him in this movie reminded me of James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause…..

Oh Spunk, what a brave one you are to leave YGMCTG to Annie and me! I feel so honored that you would trust me with such a prized possession. You and I know that Annie has pervy writing skills (we’ve seen it firsthand). Maybe between the two of us, we could finish it and do it justice! But wait – if Bel Ami has finished you off, you know Annie and I are right there with you – in Robgasm heaven.
Oh what a wonderful morning! This afternoon is going to be better though because I’m going to see RM again, and I can’t wait! I’m not going to go on about how brilliant Rob’s performance was or how absolutely amazing the whole movie was because I think that has already been said by several H00rs already, but I will say, that even my Daughters were blown away, and my youngest daughter, who is a big Tater fan, even said she thinks that Rob is cute now! Anyway I love those videos RCC, the first 3 videos were hot, but that one of gina’s was absolutely beautiful! It literally brought tears to my eyes, I don’t know if it was because I am still choked up about RM, but it was definitely a touching video. Then that Robsten video totally dragged me out of the river and back on to dry land, especially the part where Rob winks at Kristen during ComicCon, because it totally screamed “I love you baby”, or maybe that’s just what I think, but either way it looked like more than just a friendly gesture. Watch it and decide for yourself it’s at approx. 2:56. Ok I’m going to stop before everybody in the river starts throwing things at me, and get on to the poll:

Can I just say that I love that we are talking about hair!!!!! Especially Rob’s hair!!!! Since I have recently adopted a strict policy that reads, “I only date boys with fuck me hair”! This is Peeler’s speciality!!! I get to run my hands thru cute boy’s hair all day long and get paid for it!!!! I love my job!!!!! If only I could get a Rob look alike to come into the salon!!!!

So I’m about to go out and see it again today…
3rd time I woke up this morning with a sense of satisfaction…no not from that but I just felt fullfilled ,happy. I think having waited so long for this movie and watching him go through what he did to make it I felt very invested in this. So to have it be more than I ever expected was a relief.I am as proud of him as if he were mine. I never thought he could ever make me feel more for him than I do but he did it. Once again he’s given me more than I could ever repay.

Saw RM last night for the 2nd time. I’m happy to say that I liked it even more the 2nd time. I was nervous that my reaction the 1st time was based more on the “high” of the whole Today show/premiere energy than the actual movie. Nope. Love it. Rob’s performance is great. Loved the scenes with Ruby.
The theater was about 2/3 full for the 7 pm, but there was a full crowd waiting to get into the 10 pm show.
A nice surprise was that the audience clapped at the end of the film. That rarely happens here. I’m curious to see what the reaction is when I see it again today.

Debbo said it best… I was a wrung out, slightly stunned mess last night and I can’t stop thinking about, not just Rob’s performance which was mind-blowing, but the movie’s themes and message… sigh.
