So today is the day, REMEMBER ME hits theatres in many countries across the world and it’s really time for us to give a little back to Rob. I was thinking about all the amazing women I’ve met and gotten to know online and in real life and all the fun I’ve had writing this crazy completed tongue in cheek blog and you know what? I owe it all to Rob, who inspired me to try something different and just be completely wacko silly.

Okay so I’m sure many of you have heard of the Remember Me Saturday Campaign…
The basic plan is to push for this National Fan Event on Saturday, March 13th due to the fact that Friday and Saturday are the days weekend box office estimates are based on. Sunday still counts, of course, but for perception and reporting, Friday and Saturday are the golden days. Seeing as every fan will already be seeing Remember Me on Friday, Saturday became the day chosen to hold this fan campaign and try to make a difference with the box office receipts.
If you can, see it twice, Friday and Saturday!
We only have one chance to make opening weekend for Remember Me a HUGE SUCCESS!
well there’s been some new developments and MamaJAG is not happy with these fuckers insiders…
Well, the time is here. Remember Me finally opens Nationwide in the U.S. on Friday…
The question now is will YOU be there? Some movie-industry “insiders” and tracking devices seem to think not. Studio executives and the crotchety old prognosticators are obsessed with opening weekend box office and while I’d like to say phooey to all of them, opening weekend is important for a reason. There are a hot ton of factors that play into why, but the main one is that Hollywood only speaks box office and the opening weekend will be a significant indication of the money Remember Me will likely make. And the more money it makes the more word-of-mouth it will get, and the more of a success it will be called.
So right now, these douche nozzles insiders are estimating that Remember Me will take in less than 10 million, which is not a great opener by industry standards…at all.
So why is this opening weekend so important…
Remember Me is the all-important first step for Rob’s career outside the franchise and the industry is watching to see what happens. Why wouldn’t they be? Everything Rob does is news so why should this weekend be any different?
They’re watching to see if Rob has an audience that believes in him enough to slap down $10 on a sticky counter, buy some uber-crappy popcorn and just plain, old see his movie. The only thing Hollywood cares about these days seems to be money, so if my $10 will help keep Rob up on the big screen for years of side-of-the-mouth drooling to come, who am I to argue with Hollywood?
So I plan on skipping off tomorrow afternoon to catch Remember Me (I’m bummed I can’t meet up with the PattinAngelz on Saturday 
). If I could do both days I would, I would do it for Rob because honestly, without him, I wouldn’t have the privilege of writing RAoR and the privilege of knowing you ladies h00rs <3

I just went to movietickets.com to see where REMEMBER ME was playing in my area and to buy tickets online so I am sure I won’t have to stand in line for it today (friday) when I’m going and I noticed that it’s playing at FIVE theatres within 5 miles of my house. Looks like they have my area covered.
When I was on the movietickets.com website I noticed that when you clicked to go look at the specific theatre you wanted to choose to go to to see the film, there on the left they have directions AND ALSO…..it will say, or not say that “THIS THEATRE OFFERS LISTENING DEVICES”.

I too am ridic excited to go his movie this afternoon. I think I will buy a ticket for tomorrow, even though I can’t be there. My hubs invited family friends over for dinner on #RememberMeSaturday. WTF, I know. (Had to throw that # in there from habit!)
I have to tell you guys too – back in November I wrote a ridiculous fan letter to our paper’s MOVIE REVIEWER (that’s how lame I am) because he gave NM a good review. Did I mention I’m lame?
The best part tho is that the movie reviewer wrote me back! Yay! He’s a minor celebrity in my little world. Well, maybe just to me and my husband. So I was super pumped. So pumped that I forgot to bring my daughter to her ballet class that I hate because all the moms are beyotches. I digress.
Anyway, today he gives RM a really good review – in particular mentioning Rob’s performance (squeee!). But he dropped in a few spoilers. WTF. Then there’s a little square mentioning that on Sunday he’s publishing HIS interview with Rob where he asks him about celebrity, branching out from Twilight and other completely unoriginal questions. (who’s lame now?) WTF????? I thought he and I were friends!! LOL He totally could’ve used a crazed RobCat as an assistant, don’t you think? I’m kind of pissed at him now. The reviewer, that is. Not Rob. Never Rob.

Today is the day, RM is finally here! I am definitely going to see it today and tomorrow! I am going with my Cousin, and maybe my Daughters today, and if my Daughters don’t go with me today then they will go with me tomorrow, along with a few friends, my Mom, who says she’s going to see Pierce, but I know the truth 
, and maybe my Sister, so I can convince her to come over to the other side.LOL! I would be going Sunday too, but I have to work, so I’ll just have to get my fill(twss) in the next couple of days, and then maybe I’ll go again when I have my next day off!

I am not going to complain about the fact I cant see Remember Me until April 2nd anymore. I cant do anything about it so enough is enough. Although I have entered the competition to win tickets to this weeks London premiere so ya never know right?

Unfortunately, my little ponduck town didn’t have a midnight showing of Remember Me, so I am going to see it tonight (Friday) cannot wait. I also have my tickets for Saturday, because I have to support Rob. Have my tissues ready, because I have a gut feeling I am going to need them, if for no other reason, than seeing Rob getting beat up. This is going to be a long day, but a Rob filled weekend.

I’ll be watching RM tonight w/ my mother, SIL and her friend and my friend w/ her mother. It kinda ruined my plans of trying to go watch the movie w/ them one at a time so I’ll be able to go watch it several times. But if I have to I’ll go by myself during the week. And I was hoping on just going w/ my RL bestie for the first time b/c she knows that I’m all about Rob (she really doesn’t have any idea) and be able to moan out loud or cry and not worry about having to deal w/ other people until after I saw the movie.
But, it doesn’t matter. I’ll be watching it tonight and hopefully Sunday as well. We’re gonna show Hollywood what exactly Rob means to us.
