So today is the day, REMEMBER ME hits theatres in many countries across the world and it’s really time for us to give a little back to Rob. I was thinking about all the amazing women I’ve met and gotten to know online and in real life and all the fun I’ve had writing this crazy completed tongue in cheek blog and you know what? I owe it all to Rob, who inspired me to try something different and just be completely wacko silly.

Okay so I’m sure many of you have heard of the Remember Me Saturday Campaign…
The basic plan is to push for this National Fan Event on Saturday, March 13th due to the fact that Friday and Saturday are the days weekend box office estimates are based on. Sunday still counts, of course, but for perception and reporting, Friday and Saturday are the golden days. Seeing as every fan will already be seeing Remember Me on Friday, Saturday became the day chosen to hold this fan campaign and try to make a difference with the box office receipts.
If you can, see it twice, Friday and Saturday!
We only have one chance to make opening weekend for Remember Me a HUGE SUCCESS!

Well, the time is here. Remember Me finally opens Nationwide in the U.S. on Friday…
The question now is will YOU be there? Some movie-industry “insiders” and tracking devices seem to think not. Studio executives and the crotchety old prognosticators are obsessed with opening weekend box office and while I’d like to say phooey to all of them, opening weekend is important for a reason. There are a hot ton of factors that play into why, but the main one is that Hollywood only speaks box office and the opening weekend will be a significant indication of the money Remember Me will likely make. And the more money it makes the more word-of-mouth it will get, and the more of a success it will be called.
So right now, these douche nozzles insiders are estimating that Remember Me will take in less than 10 million, which is not a great opener by industry standards…at all.
So why is this opening weekend so important…
Remember Me is the all-important first step for Rob’s career outside the franchise and the industry is watching to see what happens. Why wouldn’t they be? Everything Rob does is news so why should this weekend be any different?
They’re watching to see if Rob has an audience that believes in him enough to slap down $10 on a sticky counter, buy some uber-crappy popcorn and just plain, old see his movie. The only thing Hollywood cares about these days seems to be money, so if my $10 will help keep Rob up on the big screen for years of side-of-the-mouth drooling to come, who am I to argue with Hollywood?
So I plan on skipping off tomorrow afternoon to catch Remember Me (I’m bummed I can’t meet up with the PattinAngelz on Saturday 
). If I could do both days I would, I would do it for Rob because honestly, without him, I wouldn’t have the privilege of writing RAoR and the privilege of knowing you ladies h00rs <3

Just back from watching Remember Me. It was amazing on so many levels. Great script, great casting, great performances, the list goes on. Did I forget to mention his fuckhawtness? If one could bottle HHH, a single spilled drop would cause a human orgy like the end of the book/film Perfume.
I just saw RM, too…..and I’m blown away. I tried to stay a virgin as much as possible, and the ending totes shocked me! I cried like a little bb…..I thought Rob, Emilie, Pierce and little Ruby all did a great job! It’s just a very angsty movie. If Rob could have looked any hotter, I don’t know how. And the only time I thought of Edward was one look he gave Em in a restaurant….it looked like the look he gave Bella in that Italian restaurant in “Twi” when he was telling her about his mind reading….Other than that, Rob stood on his own merits……

Hubs & I have our tickets purchased for the Friday late night screening at our local theater. If I could go on Saturday too, I would. I’m very curious to see what the turnout will be like around where I live, cuz it’s a very middle-of-nowhere rural conservative community that usually isn’t that concerned with pop culture from what I’ve seen. When I went to see New Moon the theater wasn’t even half full! o_O Not sure if I actually needed to buy RM tix in advance, but I did yesterday.
I really hope lots of people everywhere will go see it and can’t wait to hear what the *actual* box office sales will be. I do believe Rob has acting talent and hope this will earn him LOTS of respect as a serious actor.
They aren’t even showing it in my rural, conservative, in-the-middle-of-nowhere community. I am so ticked right now.

I noticed, tho, that it’s only playing in one theater at the local cinema. That doesn’t help. I honestly thought it would be in at least two. That shows right off the bat that they don’t have faith in it. It’s going to be hard, at least around here, to get big box office numbers when you only have one theater to do it in.
I know it won’t likely get number one with everything else that’s out right now, but I’d really like to see it have a decent showing. Plus, i know they are looking at opening weekend, but I think word of mouth on this will really help through the week.

I think a lot of the media still think Rob’s fans are only tweens. Even in recent interviews they say stuff like “he’s every 14 year old’s dream.” They are definitely underestimating the power of WOMEN, 18 and over baby, and the power of the cougars, as well. Just got back from seeing RM (for a second time) with a RL friend born and raised in NY. She’s not a big fan of Rob, but she enjoyed all the views of her home and absolutely loved the movie and Tybert. She didn’t know ANYTHING before going in so she was amazed. Wash Post idiot (um “movie critic) panned the movie and gave it 1.5 out of 4 stars. Her comment? THAT WAS NO ONE-AND-A-HALF STAR MOVIE!!!!
I enjoyed it even more ‘cuz I could pick up little details that I missed at the screening in NYC!! And the tingles were hmmmm, let’s just say I wish hubby were home at the moment.
Anyway – THE DIMPLE! I lost track of the dimple sightings in the movie – there were so many. Now those are the kind of details this old h00r likes to take in.
Another “oh, my” moment came when Tyler is with little sis and leans back on his bike. Rob, honey, you have the flexiest smexiest joints I’ve ever seen. If you look, his arm is totally bent backwards at the elbow! Reminds me of his flexy fingers which gets me to thinking about what could be done by them – like me for instance.
Gah! When’s Mr LHS getting home?? OOPS, I hear the car door…gotta go. Later, later!

I'm skiving off work tomorrow to see the earliest matinee, and will see it several more times Friday/Saturday (i.e. neglect the job on Friday; neglect the family on Saturday).
I'm so proud for him right now I cannot fucking stand it. Critics may love or hate the movie, but the level of Rob's performance can't be denied. Baby Boy has seriously stepped up his game. He does not disappoint, least of all himself.

I am going to go see it on Friday night, and will go again on Saturday for sure!!
But anyone who cannot see it again on Saturday can get advance tickets on-line even if you can not actually get to see it at the theater.
That way you can make it count for the weekend box office number and still support Rob’s movies. It’s just another $10, I think it’s definitely worth every penny to keep Rob around for many many years to come!!
