I can’t believe it but I’m almost at the one year anniversary of the start of Random Acts of Rob. Remember, back in the days when RAoR was just a mistyping of roar. I’m not sure if any of you have been around from the beginning, but this blog started out as a learning exercise…I was trying to learn Word Press.
At first it was called Would You Tap That, then in became Would You Tap That – Robert Pattinson (or some shizz like that can’t remember lol). One day I came across an old article in my office called “Random Acts of Kindness” and I had a light bulb moment…Random Acts of Rob!

It was already RAoR when I joined in the perving fun, but I think it was early April. I don’t know what it is about this site, but this is really the only Rob site I frequent. Some of the others are just too much… I dunno. I like that it’s not such an enormous beast here, that everyone has a voice and also that so many of those voices are from the funniest hoors I’ve ever run across.
It was the TwiPorn Library that completely made me start posting. I had honestly not been thinking of fanfic in YEARS, and seeing so many wonderful Twilight naughty fics listed and categorized totally made me jump for joy.
This site, the porn library, and all the fun times within are completely responsible for making me suck it up and just write something already! So I will always have this place to thank for re-awakening the writer in me.

It was the Twi-Porn and Twi-Smut Sindays that brought me out of lurkdom. I didn’t even discover Rob (gasp – I know!) until July of 2009. Once I discovered RAoR, I read everyday but didn’t post until I started reading FF. Then I was hooked and had to get my 2 cents in! The anniversary will be awesome!!

Last night I discovered a new fanfic – it is written by YellowGlue (Sarah) and is called “The Worst of Weather”. I started reading it because this story was nominated for “Best Vamp Sex” in the Golden Lemons Awards – and me loves me some hawt Edward vamp sex.
Well GAHHH! This story does NOT disappoint! I pulled a fanfic “all nighter” last night I got so hooked on the story.
“The Worst of Weather” is only 9 chapters in, and so far all BPOV, but Sarah tells me she is about finished with an EPOV chapter coming up next. I can’t wait. This girl writes really great with superlatives you can’t ignore. And there are some unique twists to this story that make it very interesting and captivating.
The story starts off with a lot angst and UST, but wow…by the time you get to Chapter 6, you will love the lust and love between Bella and Edward as they consummate their adoration for each other. And Wow, Chapter 9 just killed me it was so so so good… hottest Edward vamp sex I’ve ever read – right up there with Laid Bare… with incredibly hot lemons full of LOVE…and I’m panting for the next update!!!!
This fanfic is one of those “sleepers” you haven’t heard much if anything about… and only had 94 reviews when I started reading, but in one day that number has jumped to over 200 reviews – so I’m hoping The Worst of Weather will become a big hit with all of you. The author Sarah is so sweet and she needs support so please leave reviews!

I wish that I had been on-board from the beginning but somehow found RAoR late last summer and I haven’t left since! It was love at first read because I couldn’t believe that there was a site that would match my “perviness”. I am mostly a lurker but feel like I know everyone anyway. I did not start reading FF until several months later because I didn’t think it would be something I would like. The first FF I read was “The List” and I have been fucking addicted ever since.
Yup it’s addictive isn’t it. I was saying the other night that the start of a new FF is like a drug to me….I get this rush, a high…yup I’m addicted! I wonder if there is a 12 step program for FF addiction…I wouldn’t fucking go, just sayin….

No, you don’t need help. It’s all perfectly normal. I used to read books, watch TV, go out of the house, you know normal stuff. then I found FF and now it’s all I do (apart from pervin, of course). I had to buy a Blackberry to get my fix when I’m away from my laptop.
I am still pretty new to RAoR. I found LTR first in DEC 09 I thought it was funny and cute. I was still at the beginning of my Robsession, it started in OCT 09. Anywoo, I think I was looking for more blogs, websites dedicated to HHH when I found you lovely h00rs. I had to say it was love at first sight. I lingered around for a day or two before I posted. I loved the humor, pervviness and wit everyone brought. I love to be pervvy and smutty, so I knew I found my home. I still visit LTR sometimes, but this is where I belong. Thank you for making me feel welcome and being so generous with your Robporn. Love my fellow kindred Angelz/h00rs.

Jag, All that comes to my mind when reading this post is God bless Allan Coulter for his no security everybody and his dog and my grandmother know where Rob was practically every minute of the day set and the fuckhawt pics (black vneck tee and button flys) that came out of it. My fave post from July 1. with the clam pic. There will never be a better summer than 2009 and the daily walking posts from RM.
I know this makes me a bad fangirl and that summer was probably not so great for Rob, but I doubt you will ever see that kind of access to him ever again and the pics are priceless.

I found RAoR when I came across the “Is Bel Ami French for Hot Damn?” post (or something to that effect LOL) back in early September, I think. I can’t remember if I was looking for stuff on Bel Ami or if I just stumbled across it during general Rob-stalking, but it was the funniest damn thing I’d ever read regarding Rob, and got me all kinds of excited for the movie. I think I outed myself at the time, but then went back to lurkdom for quite awhile.
I still feel unworthy sometimes. I don’t post on here very often, mainly cause I feel unworthy of the witty comments some ladies come up with, but I love reading all the purvy thoughts. It always makes my day brighter. When RL is kicking my add, I just drop by for a few minutes and it’s an instant upper!

LOL You guys rock. ♥ I think I have a chronic “wish I could be one of the cool kids” syndrome, but like I said, I can’t stay away from here anyway now, regardless. Rob makes me weak and stupid, and I’m OK with that.
I’m currently living in rural eastern Washington, but will be moving to Maine, which is my home state and where all my family and old friends are. Truth is, life has been pretty rough for me this past year (from financial troubles, to a late miscarriage, and tension in my marriage), and Twilight and Rob have actually brought me a lot of joy, and even done some really good things for my marriage and sex life.
I’m really happy about this move… I’m glad to be going home and be able to accomplish a lot of the things I’ve been wanting to do for years, that I haven’t been able to do here in the sticks. It means less internet time for me, which in truth is a good thing, but I’m sure I’ll be around.
In the meantime, I’ve been enjoying this as much as I can. Even when I’ve moved beyond daily perving on Rob (God forbid!), he’s always gonna have a special place in my heart. ♥
There’s gonna be too much goodness in March with Remember Me, and then Eclipse, and hopefully more Bel Ami stuff coming out, so I know I won’t be able to resist checking out what’s going on in the World of Rob.
I’m just gonna have a lot more people in my life that I’ll have to hide it from. LOL

I don’t remember the exact date, sometime in May maybe, I came across a link on another website for RobonDemand. I started visiting occasionally, and by mid summer I was here everyday. I’m a bit shy, and didn’t unlurk until a couple of weeks ago when RobCatCdn did her survey. I decided it was time to come to the party. I love all you ladies. You make me laugh daily, and I can be myself and love on Rob all I want here. JAG, you are the best!!

Hey JAG, can’t believe it’s almost been a year. I don’t remember when I started coming on here, but knowing me I’ll investigate tomorrow and find the exact date. Since I didn’t start Rob perving until June 12, 2009, it was sometime after that.
I know you don’t want to meet Rob because it will mess with your Rob perving and it will, but only for about 5 freaking minutes!!!. No, but seriously, I totally get it. After I met him in November, I remember coming on here saying something crazy like “Now I love him more, but want him less.” Well, that was true at the time. I just couldnt’ perv on him after meeting him because he seemed so freaking young, adorkable and seriously had NO game, no sexy eye fuck, nothing.
The reason, I’m telling you this is that if I had to do it all over again, I would. Meeting him and seeing him in person was so awesome. And the perving returned full force, as you can see from my raunchy posts on here and all the fun things I have Rob do with Marisa.
So, this is my long winded way of saying, it’s okay, you can meet Rob. You’ll be traumatized for 5 minutes and then things will return to normal and all will be right with the RAoR universe. Trust me. Lurv you hard girl. Muaaaa.

JAG I thank the Robgods every day that you decided to create this wonderful piece of blog heaven! I’ve read a few different during my short time of Robsession (I was converted in October after finaly giving in to watching Twilight) but no other sites has the warmth and spirit that this one does! Some have the love but not the pervin and others have the pervin but not the love!
Can’t remember the exact moment I fell in love, but it was probably during christmas when I was temporarily back living at my folks house (they have slooooooooow internet) that I realized just how much I cherished reading JAG’s smart posts and the angelz hilarious comments!

I found this site around late August early September, and when I finally decided to come out of lurkdom in October, was on a Sinday for the rec on “My Yes, My No” by LolaShoes. I saw that on top of the Robpervin that I could do on RAoR, there is some great recommendation for fanfics and it was like I was finally home. I had been lurking on other sites but never really felt comfortable like I do here. RL been so busy and it sucks that I can’t come out and play with you ladies.
