Edward and Bella running the forest is probably the lamest scenes in the movie. Seriously, really hated that scene. Chris really blew it with that one.
I know I totes imagined Bella to be like Kristen in the HB shoot, with lots of dramatic eye makeup etc. and why was it in old fashioned kind of clothes if the Bellas change was supposed to be in the future..unless it was supposed to be Anne of Green Gables, it was just so twee and naff and juvenile.
So agree. What gets me about that scene is it’s supposed to be Alice’s vision – and hell would freeze over before Alice would let either of them out of the house dressed like that …. come ON! Bella looked hotter in her fucking anorak!

It looked to me like they were running because they were late to a lame theme wedding as a bridesmaid and best man. I was most offended/disappointed because they, for once, had the opportunity to show vamp Bella as a bad ass, you know, fierce. To get us all excited for Breaking Dawn. But no.
I took a few newbies with me to see NM in the theater and had to warn them about the cringeworthy moment(s) – yea, I have 4 moments in NM – 2 of them involving Tater and his abs.
I think they used the same wardrobe for the forest frolic scene, that they used in Twilight for the flashback of the Quileutes meeting the Cullens!
I went for a pee during that scene (I was right by the door in an almost completely empty auditorium), so I didn’t have to hide behind my hands. I will definitely be using the “skip” button on my DVD!
I’m up all night and into the day reading ‘THE BLESSING AND THE CURSE” for the second time. OH MY GOD……that character in that story is so affectionate and in love with Bella he can’t take his eyes off of her or keep his hands to himself. I’ve never had a man so affectionate with me and I’d have loved that. SIGH. and he’s a photographer in the story so he captures her with love into his camera. OHHHHHHHH GAHHHHHHHHHH. So romantic. No man was ever obsessed with me like that and oh I would have loved that. My ex loved me and wanted me sexually, but it was never like THAT story. are there men out there like that? I LOVE intense and emotional and sensitive men. SO NICE TO READ THIS. I may read it over and over. I love how it moves me. I was wearing a nighty and they haven’t even had sex yet up to chapter 9 and I had to change my gown he was so hot for her. GAHHHHHHHHH. I LOVE THIS STORY.
If you haven’t read “THE BLESSING AND THE CURSE”….you are nuts. I actually missed this character while not reading it waiting for new chapters…..he’s not the sweetest guy, but the intensity is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT> OW OW OWW.

imamess, NM was filmed in the Spring of 2009, and Eclipse was filmed in the Fall! As for pronounciation, I think they’re both right, it just depends on where you’re from!

My eyes are so tired from reading all night, but before I go to sleep, I just wanted to say that….
Somehow I feel like Rob is aware of what each movie he chooses will AFFECT US the fans who adore him. YES he is wanting to get away from the Edward character and explore all kinds of characters as he seems to always need to be growing creatively, but somehow I feel, maybe he’s read a lot of fan fictions and read a lot on the internet from fan sites dedicated to him from all over the world and somehow deep down I’d like to think that Bel Ami and Remember Me were also chosen for US. Remember Me maybe chosen to share a part of himself as he says that that character is the closest to him that he’s done so far and he relates to that character a lot, but also the varied emotions that character will allow him will express himself to us also in a way we haven’t gotten to see. But lastly, I think Bel Ami is a way sort of to give us adult fans/lovers/lust filled women a chance to feel him FUCKING us since there is NO WAY that’s ever going to happen to us. Maybe I’m being delusional, or longing for that to be true, but he has his dark sides also and yet they too are extremely EROTIC. I think Bel Ami will reflect some of his character also…..we don’t see that side of him at all. I’m looking forward to “SEEING” parts of Rob we haven’t seen yet. I feel like even though of course he’s ACTING and it’s not really him, we will still get a glimpse of parts of Rob from every character and it’s going to be erotic, passionate and extremely hot, just like we all know Rob truly is. Debbo- To the point and right on target as always. Obviously an actor chooses roles that allow him/her to explore the other sides of themselves. They get to be as dark,angry, evil, goofy, dorky … as they want to be without worrying about being branded as evil, goofy… in their normal lives. (Though I’m positive that Rob is fucking amazing in between the sheets in real life)
I love that Rob has done so many interesting characters (Daniel, Art, Dali) even if you’re not a fan of the movies you’ve got to give him props for going outside the box with his characters. He could easily have followed Twilight with another bland Hollywood teen movie. Instead he does an angry, cynical, angsty,seriously sad drama. Then he chooses to be a loser/cad/gigolo who is used sexually by women and in turn uses them for personal gain. How un-Edward of him.
