So I’ve had a lot of time to think of these things lately. Living in my head is a lonely place. But what if your life entailed all of these things in a matter of weeks? What if the rebound guy was Rob? What if the hookup guy was Rob? So tonight’s game is gonna be about all your experiences in this area. I wanna hear them. And I wanna picture Rob as the white knight in this sinario.
So hear goes.
You breakup with boyfriend/husband and meet “Rebound Rob” one night while out with friends. Do you hookup with him?
If you answered yes, move on to the next question.
You hookup with “Rebound Rob” and the sex is good, real good. Do you call him/txt him the next day?
If you answered yes, move on to the next question.
You call/txt him and he wants to see you again. You hookup again and the sex is even better than the last time. But you have this aching feeling that something is wrong with the entire situation.
Rebound Rob continues to pursue you but you can’t see a future with him. How long do you allow yourself to cushion the breakup blow by using Rebound Rob? Days, a few weeks, month? Okay, round two. Wow Peeler, you’re really making us think tonight………this is a tough one to contemplate. I answered yes to the first two (ofcourse), so that brings me to the “hard” question…..
If it was a breakup from my hubby, and I knew it was over for good, I’d probably let the sorted affair go on for a while. I’d be pretty messed up for a while and I’d want the “distraction”. I’d do that ONLY if Rebound Rob understood the situation for what it was. Wow, that sounds really selfish of me, just being honest. If it was a breakup with someone that I hadn’t been too serious with, I don’t think I’d let the affair go on too long. I wouldn’t be as upset about the breakup and would be able to see the consequences of the affair much more clearly. I honestly would be worried about other people getting hurt (Rebound Rob and Kristen) and I’d be in better shape emotionally so I could make healthier choices.

5. I hate most amusement park rides – anything that goes up and down or round and round (yeah, I know, I know!) So I think, like Tama and Driz, I’d just want him in my Tunnel of Love … and for him to get stuck in there for a while.

My mini-LRAD is still ill. She has a follow-up appt. on Monday with her doctor, so I guess we’ll go from there. Her tiny, little body is completely covered in rash. But she’s taking it like my little champ…alot better than I would. As far as me, I can never get enough sleep! LOL! I had my chance after the kids went to bed last night, but instead, I decided (like an idiot) to down about 8 jello shots and I have a bit of a hangover today!
