Can I go completely off topic here, girls?? I think it’s time as PattinAngels we gathered our forces and our power and gave some Smutty support to our boy.
I’m sure many of you have seen the disgusting pap pics that came out on the weekend of Rob leaving a Marcus Foster concert. These literally broke the camel’s back for me.
A fan blog called “Thinking of Rob” has started a campaign called, “Rob Doesn’t Want This and Neither Do We”. Other blogs are showing support as well as fans from all over the world – men and women, old, young, Mini Edwards, pets……there’s a YouTube video that shows all this and it brought me to freakin’ tears.
I’m an older fan than many of you – I’ve done my fangirl days long ago but I have to say that I have never seen such an outpouring of love and support in the last 24 hours as I have for one gorgeous, adorkable 23 year old West Londoner.
He truly has touched so many people with his wit, his charm and his talent.

Don’t give the gossip websites hits. The more hits a site gets, the more advertizers will be interested in paying the site to feature their products. That money is then used to pay paps for the photos which generates more hits to the site and so on…

What you all say is something I know we can all go along with, but RPGirl is absolutely right when she says the papz couldn’t give a flying fuck about it – the ONLY way to get them off Rob’s back is for people to stop buying the tabloids, gossip rags and visiting the websites which pay for these pix so there’s no market for them … and unfortunately I don’t think enough people will stop to make an impact. Most of these mags and websites are bought/visited by the kind of fans who don’t actually care about Rob the human being, otherwise why would they read that shite.
The sad fact is that Rob is probably going to just have to weather the storm until BD has been made and distributed so he can move on to other projects and become less interesting to the rabid, teenie/tweenie fan base. If he can retain his sanity that long, then he has a good chance of getting through it and building a more cerebral body of work, just as Leo Dicaprio has done. It’s going to be 2 more years of hell, but the rewards could be immense, both for Rob and for his true fans.

I think you are right, Rob’s eyes sometimes look green, sometimes look blue, but I think their real color is AQUA… a greenish blue… I know enuf about photography to know that the lighting and the filter on the lens can both effect the color of his eyes in photos – sometimes bringing out the blue more, sometimes the green.
But whatever, Rob’s eyes are SO fucking beautiful I don’t give a rats ass… just give me this “F*ck Me” stare and I’m a DED.

cause when he’s walking the red carpet, he’s “playing a role” …no different than being on set and your director calls “action”. Whoever the hell sends him out there wispers to him right before he walks out.. and I imagine it going something like this:
RANGLER: “Okay so I want you to look at those cameras like they’re covered in panties, and you must remove said panties with your eyes, Got it?”
ROB: “Alright, should I lick my lips and fiddle with my buttons too?”
RANGLER: “YES! Thats great Rob, just add-lib out there and we’ll see you inside…”

Maybe the real Rob you met (*faint*) seemed shy and clueless, perhaps still a bit overwhelmed by all the attention, he’s so adorkable and unassuming and humble! But maybe there’s another side to him we aren’t privy (pervy) to, except when we see his hot sexy side he shows in these photos that KILL us….
IMHO, in some of his interviews (especially the recent ones), he sure alludes to a hot sexy side! Some of his recent quotes are downright SEX-HOT and he knows it!

I am sitting here with my eyes popping out of my head. You know what is so crazy about this? I have seen all of these photos a zillion times each. You know I love me some formalwear Rob and I have copies of most of these pics saved on my computer. I look at them all the time and lately have felt sort of meh about them. And yet these images become exponentially more powerful when they are compiled according to themes like EyeF*ckaPalooza. It’s like I am looking at these for the first time all over again. I will need a hose-down shortly.

JAG: Great post as usual. When you consider how many hundreds of pics there are of Rob out there (and I should know, I have most of them on my hard drive) it’s amazing that lots of us share the same faves.
The stare in this one just KILLS me every time I look at it – and I do look at it a lot, trust me. So I’m so with you on this one JAG!
