Here in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving too but it’s in October and we don’t do it nearly as well as the Americans. They really make it an event, a time for family, football & shopping. Wishing all my American lurkers, friends & PattinAngels a Safe & Happy Thanksgiving!

This really hit home for me. I had to put my cat down this week & my heart is broken. It’s been hard for me to blog and impossible to comment here…but today I am thankful that I had her sweet furry love for 15 years.
I too am thankful for all the memories of those I have lost this year.
JAG sorry to hear about your cat – love is love, no matter if it’s a person or a pet, they are all family. I lost my dog recently. Even though it hurts now, it was worth every second with her. I just saw her in a dream the other night, it was as if we had a little reunion – hoping you’ll see your precious in dreamland soon too.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved cat this week. It is so very hard to lose them. We all take in their little lives and make them a part of our families. We go into it knowing their lives are short, but don’t want to think about it much until it happens. I know how bad it feels when it happens.
I lost my beloved Pekingese I’d had for 15 years not too long ago. I grieved heavily for him. I had had him for 8 years as my baby before I had my daughter so he was like my child. I am going to sound crazier than I already am by relaying this story, but it is what happened and it gave me a lot of comfort. I was balling my eyes out for the hundreth time on my bed over the loss of my dog when I was hit with 3 flashes like Edward was hit with the wrecking ball of Bella’s scent in Biology class. They were rapid and vibrant with colors I can not even describe in human terms…there just aren’t words…the first flash was a gravel type drive lined on either side with tall trees with leaves so green they were almost glowing..I don’t know how else to descibe it. My old dog came flying at me running down the gravel…his hair was shiny and his face was happy, young and he had energy like he never had when he was alive as he ran in my direction. The next flash was a house made out of grey slate with a stone wall next to it..a green wreath with a red bow was on the wall of the large grey stone home…I had an instant feeling this was where he was “living now”. It was a peaceful image. The next rapid flash was him standing on a rock and grassy cliff his hair shiny and blowing in the wind as he looked around and was happy…so happy. And that was it. It took place in a matter of seconds. I tried drawing the images for months afterwards…I felt like Richard Dryfus in Close Encounters trying to recreate that friggin’ mountain. I could never make the colors right though…they didn’t exist. I gave up, but I was relieved and felt God had showed me that my beloved dog was ok…happy and vibrant even…and it was ok and meant as an encouragement to move forward in my life. I have since adopted two new dogs. And that has helped heal my sadness further.
Rob lost Patty not too long ago and we all know how much Patty meant to him. I’m sure Robert would give you an e-hug if he could, just like me *hugs* Here is the poem that also helped to get me through that rough time.

Oh JAG so sorry about losing your beloved cat, our pets are like family and it is so hard to lose them – my heart goes out to you. My sis and I have two beloved wonderful rescued greyhounds and they are our “fur kids” in every way.
I too and thinking of lost loved ones this Thanksgiving, especially my dear Mom… but am also focusing on all the wonderful family who are here now and how grateful I am for them. Oh life does move on, and our precious memories are forever…

The TwiSmut of course, I was told by two young ladies in a gift shop a few months ago that repeated readings of the Twilight Saga really starts to be a sickness that becomes hard to quit. After reading 3 of the 4 books at least 4 times each (could only read New Moon once..) I had to agree.
They named several other series I should try to get me off the cycle. It didn’t help.
then I found FanFiction and I am saved!!
I no longer re-reading “Twilight”, but the characters show up in everything I do read.

Because of Mr P, I now have no Verbal Filter. My parents/friends have occassionally witnessed my reactions to him (my legs turn to blamange) and view me with looks ranging from pity to disappoinment. BUT ….. what I’m thankful for about all of that, is that I no longer give a rat’s arse!!

Sorry I have been MIA. I am off reading a really great fan fic. Promise to rec it on Sunday, if I can stand to wait that long. haha I am half way through what is posted and it is fantastic!
So, what I am thankful for today besides my family and r/l friends….
1) JAG. Without you, I would not be an online presence. I would have gone back to r/l and said screw this internet crap! You are the reason my online Robsession continued past April of this year. Thank you for being a great e-bestie! Without you and what your creative mind comes up with everyday, my day would be dull and boring. So, thank you God for JAG.
2) RAoR. I am thankful for the wonderful perv on Rob that is continually dished up here on a daily basis. It is the first place I log onto the internet every.single.day. Before I check emails or anything…well except getting coffee..so I can open my eyes enough to function, view and enjoy it. The RobPorn is steller here, It just doesn’t get any better than what RAoR is serving up! So, thank you God for RAoR.
3) PattinAngels. I am thankful for all you pervy girlfriends here. You all make me smile and laugh as I read your posts each day. You all are wonderful in your own special ways. You are all caring and thoughtful. You are smart and sassy in a pervalicious way. Even though we have never met, I still consider you great e-friends to hang with. All who understand the depth of the Robsession and it’s need to continue. So, thank you God for each and every PattinAngel at RAoR.
4) Rob. HHH, why we are even here in the first place. He is the most magnificent man God has ever created in my humble opinion. The world has been given a gift in Robert Thomas Pattinson…espcially the true Rob fans (us) and not the ones that scream out Edward at him or carry Twi merchandise everywhere and refer to him as ‘Edward is the hottest guy”. They do not get it. Rob is way more than Edward. He is not only beautiful on the outside to the Nth degree, but his personality, soul and essence of who he is as a person is so much more special. If he was stuck on himself, or shallow, or a pig b*stard, he would not be as appealing. He would end up being just another pretty face like the rest. But, his soul is what makes him beautiful. The normal adorkable, clumsy, sweet, funny, thoughful, silly, sensitive, intellectual, talented yet self-deprecating qualities are what makes him unique to the rest out there. His British and American accents don’t hurt either. haha Pair all that with the outside beauty of his face and body and he does become the world’s most exquisite man ever placed on the dust of this earth. Rob’s parents deserve an Oscar for their performance between the sheets nine months prior to his birth.(Sorry Rob, I know you don’t want to picture how you came to be, but we gotta be real here! haha) God created a true masterpiece on May 13, 1986. I bet God took a nice big vacay that week after that. haha Or at least the angels in heaven rejoiced and celebrated God’s best creation yet. Glory in the highest! Praise God and thank you for Rob.
5) Kristen. I am so thankful for Kristen. I know not all of you PattinAngels love her or even like her, but I appreciate you respecting those of us and Rob, that do love her enough not to bash her. I thank Kristen for bringing us Rob. For even though, C Hardwicke hired him when he was out of work. Rob said out of his own mouth that he was ready to give up acting. He said that Kristen was the only reason he wanted to do Twilight. She was the only reason he bothered to come to the United States and audition. So, we would not even be here together perving on Rob without Rob’s desire to be with Kristen in the Twi Saga. Plus Kristen is a beautiful, cool girl. IMO, she is a great actress and makes a great Bella to Rob’s Edward. She brings out the animal in Rob we all crave and want and can see in the best. kiss. ever. HEAT. And the new groaning best.kisses. ever of New Moon. I can not even imagine what she has caused him to do in Eclipse, but I can not wait to find out! Gah! The thought of that makes me dizzy. haha For Rob to say it should be rated R due to Kristen’s… what was it he said? I don’t remember, but I am sure AnimalRob will be in full force in Eclipse and my mind can only imagine Breaking Dawn on the honeymoon or friggin’ vamp all out go to town sexin’ after Bella is changed. Gah! *THUD* So, thank you God for Kristen.
6) Smom. I have to make a special mention and thank you for her. She is seriously the person who keeps me sane on a daily basis where I feel I am drowning in r/l crap. She is friend and counselor to me. She is Robporn dealer at all hours of the day. She is my right hand lady when it comes to writing YGMCTG. She is a muse. She helps me when I have the worst writer’s block. She makes it seem effortless when I need help with that. She has a family and a job. She has bills to pay and soccer games to shuttle her girls to. (hence her name of course haha) She is constantly on the go all day long here and there and everywhere! It exhausts me some days just hearing all she has to do each day. And yet, she always, always has time for me. Time to hear me vent about my r/l drama. Time to stop and perv on Rob for a fix with me. Time to talk about the beauty of Robsten. Time to read a little fan fic with me and discuss it. Time to give advice. Time to just be an excellent friend to me…and I have never even had the chance to meet her in person. If I ever do, I will make sure to hug her tightly for all she has given me this year. I sometimes don’t think I would make it though my day without her. So, with all she has on her plate, she always makes time for me and for that I am truely grateful. So, thank you God for Soccermom (Smom).
7) Fan fiction and it’s authors. I am so thankful for this. Like others have said today, I loved the Twi Saga…more than anything I have ever read. It is the only series I have read more than twice. I think I read it 5-7 times through before I went in search of something more. I tried reading real books again…other authors I liked before, etc. But it was boring. I lost interest quickly and felt sad. But there had to be something more. I didn’t know what to do. That is… until I was introduced to the wonderful world of fan fiction at LTR back in January. I had no idea this genre even existed, much less that it would serve what I was looking for. My first fics…The Submissive, The Office and Wide Awake were like being able to breathe again and have something new to read without leaving the wonderful Twi world behind. I didn’t want to leave Edward and Bella, Alice and Jasper, Emmett and Rose, Carlisle and Esme, Charlie and even Renessmee. Jacob…meh…I could care less about. haha Sorry. But, it’s ok, b/c in all the fan fics I read…Jake never gets Bella anyway. It’s always Edward…as it should be. Edward and Bella are iconic…just like the actors together now that play their parts. But the fan fic world has continued to encourage me to read and be exposed to new worlds such as sub/dom and tatts and piercings etc. haha And let’s all face it, after the f*ckhawt buildup of Eclipse and then getting fade to black in Breaking Dawn, I think we all wanted to throw our book across the room and scream NOOOOOO! Steph cockblocked me!!! GAH! Not fair!! Waaaaaaa!!!! Well, in all fairness, it was her editors and not Steph that did it. She did write the durty from what I understand, the editors just made her fade to black for the tweens *Spunk grumbles to self about the d*mn tweens again always getting in the way* So, fan fic fills in those missing parts of BD over and over again to satisfy us with the yummy Robward lovin’ over and over and over and over again! And the stories written are so great that many are worthy of publishing and yet we all get to enjoy them for free. It can’t get any better than that! I love free! haha And they also inspired me to write YGMCTG myself. Thanks to LolaShoes especially. So, thank you God for fan fiction and it’s talented authors.
8.) Robsten Love Forum. I am thankful for my other home besides RAoR. The love that is so overfilling in that place for Rob and Kristen is very warming. Of course, every lady there is always perving on Rob too. We always hope Kristen won’t mind since she’s the one getting to actually get on the Rob ride over and over. Lucky lady! But there is much love for Kristen there too. And we provide that for our one unicorn dood that hangs with us. God bless him for putting up with us perving on HHH and all his hawt body parts…he takes as much as he can before he says hey, I am left out..so we perv on Kristen for him and he is happy. haha He’s cool to hang with us. I thank C2R and Chonga for building us our beautiful huge new home there. I thank Ever who not only writes a hawt Robsten fan fic called Quiet coughreaditpeepscough, but she really does the most of all the Mods there. She picks up all our slack and never complains. She rocks! I thank all the other Mods there…OTW, Crystal and Smom. They all do a great job to help keep our house running in proper order. I wish I could thank all 900 members we have there. Of course, this post of thankfulness is already long as Rob’s muffin. So, better not. haha So, thank you God for the Robsten Love Forum and all it’s Admin’s, Mod’s and Members.
9) That dood that suggested Summit make Twilight. Sorry, I don’t remember his name. But I guess we should thank him. He had the script or something when he was with Paramount I think, which passed on the deal. So, when he went to work for Summit, he presented it there. It was accepted and the rest is history. So, thanks to him. Anyone remember his name? I’d have to dig for the info and I don’t have time today. So, thank you God for that dood that pressed on for Twilight to be made into a movie.
10) Stephanie Meyer. Ultimately, beyond all of these I listed above. We owe her all the thanks. Without Steph and her dream of Edward and Bella….without her writing the Saga…without her sister’s insistence to get it published…we would not have that dood that pushed for it to be made into a movie, Kristen as Bella, Rob as Edward, RAoR, Robsten Love Forum, fan fiction and it’s talented authors, Smom (for me), PattinAngels or JAG. None of it would even exist without Stephenie Meyer and her mad talent to bring the whole world together and to it’s knees in worship of all that she has created. So, thank you God for Stephenie Meyer.

Sidenote: Like everyone here, I saw the Remember Me trailer and when they show him wearing that jean shirt all I could think was “he’s wearing grey manties in this scene”!!! Ok… So I am thankful for that too.

Everything that I wanted to say has pretty much been said here already, and more eloquently than I would have said it I’m sure.
I am thankful for so much. I really do have a great life. Family is healthy, DH has a job, I have a roof over my head,and food always on the table.
May 17, 2009…the day that changed my life…first time I saw Twilight, read all 4 books, and by the following weekend I found my new home, right here with JAG and the rest of the Angels.
Ever since that day I wake up every morning with JAG, all of you girls, and ride the PPE straight to Durty Girl Land. And at night I pretty much fall asleep in the wee hours of the morning reading fabulous ff or playing w/ the rest of you.I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Not to sound too sappy, but JAG and HHH changed my life. I live a much happier and more satisfying life then before.

Ahhhh…the parking lot scene that I MISSED because of the c*ckblockers…yes, I’m holding a grudge for that one! I’m thankful for the steele toed black boots that I’ll be wearing when I put my size 6 1/2 foot up their asses for making me miss that!

I’ve decided to wait to go see NEW MOON on Monday. The lines were so long when I drove by and I hate crowds. MONDAY the nearest theatre has a five buck entry fee for matinees, so I’ll go then and hopefully the little tweens will be back in school by then. I want to see my Rob in NEW MOON in silence. Hopefully they won’t hear me moan when Rob kisses Kristen and the grunt comes….gulp.
LRAD-yes I did, thanx for asking. I love it too. I am wearing it under my sweatshirt right now.
As for the c*ckblockers and the long lines ladies…..I may or may not have a copy of New Moon that I watch the parking lot scene from every day at least once. I will go back and see NM in the theaters again for my bday, because Rob is truly someone who has to be seen on the big screen to be fully appreciated, but until Dec. 5, I will groan and grunt and blackout whilst in the privacy of my own home.
Going to see New Moon a 2nd time tomorrow or Saturday with family – am so looking forward to the shirtless Rob and kissing Rob scenes…. there’s just not enuf Rob in this film!!
