Every time I look at those pictures of him from that night…anyway, what, I’m trying to say is by sheer coincidence I happened to have a Hot Pocket right before I left for the New Moon event and then afterwards my friend wanted to go get In ‘n Out burgers, so we did.
So I had two of Rob’s favorite foods in one night, without even realizing it until now. No one other than you guys would appreciate it that tidbit.

Also, you can make your own version of an In ‘n Out Burger. Here’s what’s in one: hamburger patty, hamburger bun, lettuce, tomatoes, onions (I order mine grilled), cheddar cheese and the special sauce, which is basically Thousand Island Dressing (ketchup, mayonnaise and pickle relish, all mixed together so it looks kind of orange).
They also toast the bun, so it’s a little crispy. They’re delicious!

the theatre here is showing twilight before new moon as well, but even though it is in the exact same theatre as the one we’ll be sitting in for new moon, we would have to leave after it’s over and get in line for new moon…which is bull…because by the time twilight lets out the line for new moon would be enormous and my friends and i would be hard-pressed *giggle* for good seats. so i think we’re going to pass, which SUCKS. we really wanted to do the double feature thing too.

I’m a bit worried too that he seems to be losing his British accent. He seems to be developing a muddled mixture of american/english. We need him home here in the UK, urgently (!) to remedy this situation. I’ll look after him…..X

He’s started saying things like “skedule” instead of “shedule” and softening his consonants, like when he says, for example, “waidin” instead of “waiting”. The problem, of course, is that at least 95% of his roles in the future are going to require him to speak with an American accent, so I guess it’s inevitable, particularly as he never seems to have time to come home anymore. I just hope he doesn’t acquire a f*cked up transatlantic accent like Christian Bale, which is now neither one thing nor the other.

Ooh JAG, now you’re asking! I’m leaving the office now (boss says I should go home early cos my back is still crap), so will have a listen to some of the latest interviews when I get home in an hour or so and let you know if there’s anything that jumps out. At the moment it’s just a general blurring of his accent, but I know there are a few other words that have struck me, just have to remember which!
I noticed that too. I’m sure the fact that he spends a lot of time with a certain American actress has an influence as well.
Rob really needs a good spanking, he’s really messing up my fanfic, now he sounds more British in my story than he does in real life, and with that little shy, innocent act he tried to pull off the other night, he’s fucked it all to Hell.
he definately has got a bit of a drawl, its hard to describe, his english accent is more clipped he doesnt miss any constanants but the american is droppin the constanants…
ive got a weird accent its canadian/scottish weird transatlantic thing…the thing is Rob wont even know he is doing this… when you hear a certain accent over periods of time you naturally acquire some of it whether you like it or not.

You can’t blame the guy, it’s so easy to do. I spent 6 months in Louisiana and I swore to my mother I wouldn’t go all Americanized on her and within weeks I was saying y’all… I still do sometimes.
I think you just get lazy. When you’re surrounded by the Americans and you get mocked every time you say ‘schedule’ and ‘water’ and ‘aluminium’ you just change it for an easy life.

I think you’ve pretty much nailed it Sue. And his use of the word “Fall” instead of “Autumn” when talking about the start of the BD shoot was one of the words that jumped out at me. I think we both accept that it’s inevitable but, as you say, I will miss the accent if he goes completely “native” – although I suspect he will retain enough to still make our girly bits tingle!

Although I felt really sorry for Tattward, I understand that Bella is mentally, and emotionally fucked up, so she doesn’t always think clearly. I think she just needs time to realize that she needs him just as much as he needs her.
I totally agree with you spunkransomlover. Bella is in a fucked up place. Edward means so much to her but she hasn’t dealt with the crash and that getting in the way of her emotions. Edward needs to deal with his past as well but at least he’s trying to help Bella and he realizes that he loves her. Bella hasn’t fully reached the point where she knows even though her subconscious might. They both need each other so much but right now it not healthy for either of them. Once they start dealing with their past and understanding that it’s not their fault then they can move on.
Sorry about my rant. I’m graduating with a degree in psychology so I can understand where it coming from a little bit. But I’m still a little bit bad at Bella though. She totally piss me off. But I understand where she is coming from.

Thankfully Debbo, I read that first. I got several updates the last couple of days, went through Seismic Hazards, Master Of The Universe, Breaking Trinity, University of Edward Cullen, The Naked Guy Upstairs and EP. Then got CW&IA late last evening and read it last. I was so into that one too, I knew it was going to blow up, but didn’t think it would happen just that way at least not before the end of the holidays. You know it was going to happen, but can’t help blaming Bella, if she hadn’t been hiding so much and been a little more honest it would have been better all around. She knew he was damaged too, she knew most of his details, at least people told her. Nobody told him anything though..nasty, and it’s not like others didn’t know. Just left me with a bad taste in my mouth, he’s not perfect, but it’s like he was putting all the effort into this going blind and got used with a capital U. Ok…I’m shutting up..she’s promised a HEA, but good Lord, not sure if I were Tattward I’d want any more of that (not without intensive work and recovery for Bella for at least 2 years before I’d even talk to her again…)

I’m LOVING reading “Campus Liaisons”. I am climbing RIGHT INTO THIS ONE and sucking it up. LOVE it that there’s this instant “chemistry” between them. It’s funny because for the SECOND TIME now I’ve pictured someone other than Rob playing the Edward in this story. I picture “BRANDON BOYD” who is the lead singer for the rock band: “INCUBUS”. I don’t even picture how his hair looks, I just see his eyes and face and his long lean body and for some reason he FITS the look of the “Edward” in my head for “Campus Liaisons”. I pictured him ONE OTHER TIME…..and that was in a ONE SHOT fan fic story I LOVEEEEEEEED called: “A LITTLE CRAZY” which was written by LolaShoes.
Both characters have “traveled the world” on some kind of “search for self” and so it’s odd that I would see the same REAL LIFE MAN jump into my head reading this story as well.
You’d think I’d see Brandon Boyd as tattward too since Brandon has a lot of tattoos…but I don’t. I see Tattward as Rob, but more physically bigger and more square shaped…..rugged almost, but still with Rob’s face probably thanks to the PICTURE JAG posted for “Tattward” which I had seen BEFORE I read Tattward.

I have officially brought someone to Rob. I had a friend over to watch Twilight for the FIRST TIME!! (crazy, right?) since I had loaned her the books and she wanted to see it. She didn’t know much about the movie but said that Rob just wasn’t how she pictured Edward as she read the books. I told her to hang on to her panties cuz by the end of the movie she would see the light. And she did!!! It feels good to lead someone to Rob. Hopefully it will just be a matter of time before she finds RAOR!

Le sigh….that would just kill me. Enjoying an evening with the man, drinking, laughing, listening to music and sharing stories. What a beautiful night that would be.

OH GOD, I should clarify that. when I was young we had a cat named Marmalade after that song. She got really fat and so we changed her name to Marmalarde!
