Stage 1: The Experimenter – you watch HP GoF and Twilight. You get your first glimpse of Rob and have that holy sh*t moment.

Stage 2: The Social User – you casually browse the internet for video & pictures. Note: the picture below was the first pic I found that made me go Holy Shit he is f*ckhawt & it’s not even the hottest one out there but it took my RobAddict Virginity so it holds a special place in my panties.

Stage 3: The user, uses daily. Oh yea, that`s good.

Stage 4: The addict can spend hours and hours on a blog or forum discussing this photo, this position, the things you'd like to do to...f*ck what was i saying??
Stage 5: The Dealer – making videos and Rob Porn, twittering & posting pics and Rob Porn to Addicts, users, social users and experimenters in an attempt to hook them further. Gawd I loved this stage.
Stage 6: The KingPin Dealer – you start a blog, website or write your own fan fiction. At this stage your addicted and dealing RobPorn like it’s your job LOL. This group includes the likes of me, FakerParis, Gozde, UC, Moon and the list goes on and on and on.
Stage 6: *looks around* well here I am!

As for the “Old Navy Dad shirt free zone, own it bitches” I weep a little at that one. So here I am petitioning to be inducted into the “OuiCannesDoRob” club!!! I saw all the comments the ladies were making about the ONS the other night and I didn’t want to intrude, but I LOVE that damn shirt! Cannes Rob looked G O O D !!! (Sorry JAG…) Anyway, love the shiteous Nikes, BBJ and pretty much all the crazy shiz that Rob wears…even though much of it is ridiculous and no one else in the world could get away with wearing it. Ex: Frankenpants, hole-y-stoli, windbreaker, Cliff Huxtable sweater and plaid shirt with the sleeves ripped off.
[I like to think the latter was just a casualty from a great night and he just couldn't part with it].

Iam happily on stage 4 and as some of you other ladies I am computer challenged so will more than likely not progress to further stages. It was because of rob that I actually learned HOW to right click save and then figure out how to establish the pornopics folder of HHH for ahem…personal use. So see-being a robaddict is educational! I’ve learned so much in my addiction to rob-saving pics/ saving giffs/ discovering youtube and establishing an account for my fave rob vids/ fanfiction!! I am so relieved to once again hear I’m not the only one who needs the daily robfix and freaks if we don’t get SOME sort of him at least once a day, somehow I feel less pathetic and normal (luv u gals for this) lol. I’m at Stage 4+. By that I’m kind of a bit of Stage #5, and I aspire to the idea of writing FF, but I can’t think of anything worth writing LOL.
I twitter pics to friends, and have sent a couple of DVDs out with RobPorn vids downloaded off YouTube, and a Bobby Long concert, on them. Have received stuff in return. But I don’t use my RobPorn to make videos, because I don’t have the patience to choose the pics, clips and right songs to put together.

I am a stage 4 addict, bordering on a 5 ……
None of my friends are aware of my little obsession, so could you mind if we kept the following information just between us??
First saw Rob in HP GoF. For a time it was my nephew’s favourite film, constantly playing in the background of my sister’s house, in whichever room he deemed necessary. So, it was really just the odd glimpse every now and then.
The next time I saw, he quite literally landed on my front door mat, in the form of my Hackett brochure. I didn’t instantly make the connection – not enough coffee had been consumed and, let’s face it, he does English Gent far better than Aspiring Wizard!! It wasn’t until a few days later, when I was ordering a new jacket from said brochure, that I realised where I’d seen him before.
Again, didn’t really pay him that much attention. He looked like any other 20-something male that I worked with at the time.
Earlier this year, I was snowed under with work and completely buggered. My final client of the day and I had chatted about films/cinema/dvds. He told me about a film called “Twilight” that had just come out on dvd, calling it the best thing he’d seen in ages.
It was a Saturday night and I couldn’t even be arsed to get showered and changed to go out. So, I bobbed into Sainsbury’s to buy the recommended dvd for my night in, as opposed to the dross on the telly.
About 10 minutes after the dvd had slid on it’s little tray into the machine, I was hooked.
I watched the film twice that night.
I got hooked thick and fast. Not so much a “snowball effect” more like a bloody avalanche!
In the beginning, it was just watching Twilight every night when I finished work. It escalated rapidly into hours of Googling.
Then I found RAoR and realised that I wasn’t alone, that sometimes obsessions could be healthy and not improper or distasteful.
I’ve even started trading English-Pattin-Literary-Morsels for US-Robtastic-Mags, thanks to meeting some really wonderful ladies on here.
JAG, my life, because of you and Rob, has changed.

I’m a Sports & Remedial Physical Therapist and I prodominantly work with rugby players. At the time of Rob’s Hackett catalogue appearance, the team I was working with was made up of 20-something guys that looked more like models than rugby players (actually, one of them did model for Vogue! I jest ye not!).
So, yes. I, on a regular basis, work in changing rooms, containing upto 20 nekid men ….. Always A Pleasure, Never A Chore!!!!

My first Rob-pic was one of the premier of Twilight in London: I thought he looked like a nutcase to me (sorry, it was a really baaad pic) and since I hadn’t seen the movie or saw him walk and talk, I couldn’t get what the hype was all about…
A few months back I saw the movie and went through all the stage mentioned above and I’m in deep…and LOVING every bit of it!

My first Rob blog was LTR too. The girls there are hilarious. But I have to say, these days it’s all about RAoR and ToR. I don’t have that much time to go to other blogs. Only when someone links there for some reason.
So, MY RobStory. I saw him in Harry Potter, and thought: Huh. Cute guy. Too young though. Harrys still my fav.
Now, thats was a long time ago! Then I remember seeing an article in a Norwegian gossip mag about Cedric playing this hot vampire (I had never heard of the books, and I’m REALLY a bookaddict!). And I thought: Hmm.. I should def see that movie when it gets out, I love vamps. And he looks kinda hot (I think the pic I saw was from the HP premiere, with the red jacket?).
And then I forgot all about the movie. Then came march 2009. I needed new books to read, and Twilight (all foru books) was on display in the bookstore! AND, it was a “Buy three, pay for two” offer. So I bought Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse, and read the damn books in three days! Then bought Breaking Dawn, and read that the fourth day.. I wa hooked. Rellay hooked, and needed to see the books filmed. So I downloaded Twilight (buu, bad me) and THIS http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ538XlP1sM at 0.44 is when I fell in love with Robert Pattinson.. I was bad enough when I was just logging into the Blogs but then I got into Twifanfic and now I’ve lost it! But haven’t made a video, don’t follow his every single move following Twitter although I do have a Twitter account that I check every couple of weeks..I know, totally useless because I miss all the tweets and I don’t Tweet myself. But my cell phone does phone calls and that’s it, doesn’t even take photos.
I do have a poster and a Calendar of Rob beside my computer and 3,000 jpegs of his pretty self. Oh yeah..he’s my wallpaper of course and the wallpaper on my mp3 player.
I first noticed him in Goblet of Fire and said a very loud..”Holy Shit, who’s that!” when he came on screen. I don’t usually do that, ever! I’m off topic for a minute, but I just wanted to say that “Alphabet Weekends” was absolutely FABULOUS. I spent ALL DAY SUNDAY and ALL NIGHT reading the 31 chapters. I’m so fan fic addicted it’s sick! I LOVED THIS STORY SO MUCH. It’s not over and of course there’s a fucking cliffhanger, but still love it. Thanks for sharing the world of FAN FICS with me people. I’m in love.

Just read today’s post. I’m BETWEEN STAGE FOUR and STAGE FIVE. I’ve pimped Rob pictures a great deal and tried to turn friends and family on to Rob, but I haven’t done videos or written fan fics. Probably won’t. But where I’m at on the Rob addiction is bad enough. LOVE HIM!
By the way, I fell in love with Rob BEFORE TWILIGHT. I think it was around October. I think I saw him on a show somewhere, or doing interviews or something, I don’t even remember, but it WAS before Twilight. I WAS HOOKED.

I can’t believe it has been almost a year of Robsession for me. Time flew by fast and so much happened in the RobBubble. the summer was insane. I wish the BBJ had come out to play a bit more in Vancouver while shooting Eclipse. Will we see it next month? I’m keeping my fingers crossed. I miss it.
and I hope the fakers on twitter will be back in full force for the nm madness.

I am soooo stage sixed.
OMG. I love all you girls. I read ROAR and your comments first thing every morning. Since I am in stage 4 of my robsession, this site makes it a little easier to get up in the mornings. I am perfectly happy in stage 4. Of course I went through all stages to get here. I discovered Rob after watching a friend’s Twilight dvd. I was immediatley hooked. Went the next day to buy my own copy. I had to know everything about him and see every pic. For a while I was acually a little depressed because I knew that I would never meet him. Normal right? I am in a better place now though. I mean laundry and dishes are getting done at least! Before, I could barely concentrate at work. God I was in deep! I have now accepted that I will just worship him from afar. I will always stay at stage 4 since I am technically challenged. And that is fine by me. No robhab for me please and thank you!!
It’s so weird how there are stages. I did the pining and depressed thing too. I had to work through it. But now I get nothing but goodness from my Robsession and am happy even though, you know, I’m not KStew. I’m actually happy for them, which is weird. (Go Robstens!). WhatevermakesRobhappy. I thank RAoR for that. So, well, kisses.
I’m at stage 7. I’m ashamed to say, but I’m the worst. Let me tell you:
I am a freelance advertising executive. And so I can sort of ‘choose’ when I work and when I don’t. So after 5 months of very very hard working I chose to hava a little time of….. ‘A little’ that was…. After 8 weeks I find myself on the internet the whole f*****day searching for Rob-news-pics-something….. instead of searching for a new asignment!!!!! I feel so terribly guilty, but I can’t stop it. Every day I think: so today you’re gonna stop, you’re like a stupid little girl, go and do something more important; find yourself a new client!!! Earn some money!!!! Do your work!!! But again today….. started with my forst coffee, searching for Rob-stuff….. and I’ll be not suprised if I’m am on this same seat at the end of the day…… HATE IT, but can not stop. Stage 7, or maybe 8……. And the more I find amazing pics I get more addicted…. I don’t smoke and I don’t drink. I Rob. This is how bad it REALLY is: I heard he is coming to Londen after filming Eclipse; so from that moment I’m sort of nervous, cause Londen is close to the Netherlands…. and there is a little, verry little voice in my head that says: he, maybe you can go to Londen (again, cause I just returned from a short shopping holliday!), and if you stay in a hotel near his home? hotel? parents home? who accidentilly run into him…. OH YEAH….. HOW INSANE IS THAT?!!!!! It’s horrific.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you how it started: It wasn’t a picture…. it was an interview. Don’t remember for what program or magazine; all I remember is the way he looked up at the one who was interviewing him, the way he spoke, put his hair back his ear, that thing he does with his lips after he finishes a scentence, the way he laughed a bit shy and the things he actually said…… I.WAS.HOOKED.INSTANTLY.
This was the interview I was talking about. And to be precise: he got me at exactly 4.00.

Like you, I have also spent time when I should be working (like NOW!) just surfing the net for RobStuff *sigh*.
Incidentally, I live in London and understand that there’s not going to be a UK premiere for NM, but that Scummit are instead going to put on a “fan event” on 11 November – but there are still no bloody details of what that will comprise or where it’s going to be; all they’ve said is that some of the cast will be there which, considering it’s his home town, should include Rob. Wish they’d let us know what’s happening.

yes expatzgeil, I remember watching it and could not believe a guy to be so cute and hot at the same time. He is flirty indeed, but in a way also shy and that combination does it for me. Yes the eyes after he puts his glass down and looks up again, and the little surprised smile when she says she is a bit of a naughty interviewer…. And on top of it al: the little bit sad smile at 4.02.

I don’t know the first pic I saw of Rob!?!? Does that make me a bad fan girl? I loved the books and I don’t really ever watch movies but watched Twilight. That was my first hit. I was in love that night. I stayed up and googled “Robert Pattinson”. I was embarassed, but since it was officially typed into my history I went with it. Went to you-tube and well, you know the rest b/c you all did it.
First few blogs I loved were Twi-crack addict, then Robsessed. That led me to go to twitter and RAoR. Never looked back.
My new external hard drive came in the mail last week!! Lots o more room for RobPorn!

I remember signing up for “HOW TO BE” -the movie’s original website WAY BEFORE it was even PLANNED to be released. They were even looking for people to distribute it in various countries it was so early…..I used to go and watch the TRAILER on their website over and over….I loved Rob-Art.
