Mmm Robward!
So the Teen Choice awards are over and done with. *sigh* like Comic Con, I’m moving on and quickly.
So earlier this week, Rob & Kristen flew out of LA bound for Vancouver and the start of the filming of Eclipse. *fangirl squeeeeeeeeeeeee* Rob in Vancouver is going to be such a different Rob than Remember Me Rob. He’s gonna be surrounded by good friends and be working in an environment that he is comfortable with and above all is protected. The Eclipse set is closed!
First off I have to admit that Eclipse is my fave book in the Saga (besides the unpublished & incomplete Midnight Sun, Stephenie get on that already sheesh) I am by far the most excited for this film to be made.
Unfortunately, when scripts get written, scenes get cut. One of my fave scenes did not make it into the New Moon Script and many many great scenes never made it into Twilight. Why or why did they cut the blood typing scene in Twilight, that was such a turning point *sigh* I digress.
So I got to thinking what are the MUST have scenes for Eclipse, the scenes that I need to see and can’t do without. While I was pondering this, I realized that my favorites are pretty much the same as everyone elses.
- Compromises – “the leg hitch” gah, I get shivers still when I think about this. Bella finally agrees to marry Edward
- Fire & Ice – the tent scene where Edward and Jacob open up about their feelings
- Monster – Bella asks Jacob to kiss her.
So those are my 3 must have scenes but beyond those there are a few Robward moments that I can’t wait to see in Eclipse.

1. romantic RobWard. New Moon was so full of conflict and sadness I need some Romance…some Vampmance!

2. happy Robward. Both Twilight and New Moon were so full of angst and trust me we aren’t going to see much of happy Robward in New Moon. I think we’ll see that pained, strained look on his face a lot. Like he’s trying really hard to figure out a complicated math problem in his head. Heehee

3. jealous Robward – I so want to see a little burning jealousy, I want to see some tension between Robward and Jacob

Phew this was a long post but I really wanted to explore Eclipse. I’m very excited for filming to start & looking forward to the pictures & snippets that we’ll get to see.

I watched the Twilight trailer, oh about 1,957,428 times and regretted it when I saw the movie. That keeps me strong, that and my Rob pic collection, and The List.
Eclipse is my fave too! I’m ready for a little bit less angsty Edward with the romance and the humor! This is where I REALLY fell in love with him! I can’t imagine how I’ll do in the theatre seeing Rob say all these things. It will be EPIC!

I can’t lie…I really would enjoy the part in Chapter 8 (Temper) when, after hitching Bella’s leg over his hip (*POOF*), he rolls her on top of him, kisses her throat, then rolls on top of her, hovers over her and traces his icy tongue over her lips.

In Eclipse, I would like to see, after Edward gives Bella the ring, “Yes I like it, you have no idea.”
And most of all, “I love you. I want you. Right now.” Although they may be aware that if they put that in the movie it is completely possible that whole theaters could burst into flames at that moment.
New Moon is my fave of the books so I do have to say that if (please please oh please) Edward says, “And then you shot across my sky like a meteor…” there will be a quivering pile of goo named Annie sliding down the floor.

My brain is a mushy mess of New Moon book, New Moon movie teasers, Eclipse, fan fiction, Dark Side of the Moon ff, and my own damn fantasies.
I think I need to go on a starvation diet of nothingness and then re-read Eclipse before next summer.
Cuz right now I’d say New Moon is my favorite book but I have a feeling I’ll be saying Eclipse is my favorite in a few months. And then by next summer Breaking Dawn will be my fave (is that possible? – I cringed throughout much of it).
Thinking of doing the starvation diet thing too – just don’t know it if would be possible! I loves me some Twilight saga too much (and of course HHH) to avoid it all! (*wink* to Christina4)
One more thing, when I give Eclipse to my virgin Twi reader friends (which I’ve done 3x and am about to do a 4th), I always say “this one is the most even keel of all the books – there is happiness from start to finish for the most part”. Sigh. I apparently don’t give a damn about Jacob’s feelings.
I’d have to agree! Jacob is a good character for the tension of the love triangle, but mostly, he just annoys me.

For me I did NOT like New Moon at all the first time I read it but I gave it another chance & really liked it alot better the next few go arounds. The movie trailer looks awesome!! So vera vera excited!!!
I was initially bummed for Rachel – she really seems like a great girl. But mostly, I dislike Summit in general. The way they have handled everything had sucked ass imo. From the insane marketing blitz (themed birthday plates, BK hats? I am waiting for bedding too for cryin out loud) overkill and “forbidding” employees to date one another and throwing Rob to the dogs in NYC, they just seem like an organization full of self serving pricks. If I may, I also think Rob needs to dump Nick.

There must also be a complete tent scene – and the conversation between Edward and Jacob as Bella is drifting in and out of sleep.
Finally, a real knock down and dirty fight between Edward and Victoria. No holds barred. I need to see Edward get all bad ass!
As for my favorite book in the series, I do love them all for different reasons, but E and BD have to go on top (yup!) for the sexiness. They totally perved me out for weeks – literally, I had to have an orgasm nightly, preferably with the hub but not necessary, for at least two solid months.

Heidi, That woman is always mouthing off. Plus I have no use for TC or the Awful Truth. I read that at the TCA she couldn’t keep her hands off Rob. She was constantly touching him, either his hand, his arm or his leg. I read that at TwiFan I believe and they said Rob talked constantly and never shutup. Maybe he was afraid if he did she’d throw a liplock on him, so he better keep talking hahahaha.

I thought Rob’s body language was funny sitting with Catherine Hardwick. He had his hands folded and laying tightly against the HOLY PEEN. LOL
Rob’s body language says a lot about him. He’s like an open book. WHen he went to the theatre screening at comic con, he had his arms folded tightly. And when he was at the MUCH MUSIC and MAC store he was curled up with his feet up in the chair all pulled in tight. Then of course the head down too much when he’s trying to avoid the papz and his hands running through his hair constantly when he’s nervous. His hands in his pockets is a body language thing too, but I forgot what that means…I read it somewhere. LOL
PLUS all of his amazing facial expressions, which we ALL love so much about him. You really can read him like a book and HE KNOWS IT now. We’ve all commented when he didn’t smile much or looked sad. Now he’s trying to not show ANY EMOTION when he’s out in public and with the papz. I’m glad. He sure is well self controlled. Got to give him credit. I guess I’m a little anal about Rob. GOD I LOVE HIM. But he’s fun to “read”. So adorable. Gahhhhhhh

I thought it was SO INTERESTING when Rob was talking about when he’s in there with all the screaming and he said he can literally FEEL all this INTENSE ENERGY coming at him from all these women… and all the love coming at him too. I can’t imagine what that must feel like. It would be so overwhelming. He’s sure been through a lot the past year. But he has handled it so well. He’s amazing.

Mimi I agree with you that Rob is perhaps not best served by Nick. Maybe I’m jumping to conclusions, but from what I’ve observed: a) he needs to be MUCH firmer with the paps (as in “no photos” vs letting them snap away during Rob’s private time and even take a Mulligan…sheesh) and b) I think he gets off a little too much on the quasi-celebrity nature of his job at the expense of Rob’s privacy. Either he needs to re-adjust his priorities, focus and do what’s right by Rob, or he needs to be replaced. I’m guessing Rob’s probably too much of a nice guy to do anything about it until Nick pulls something really egregious, however.
suziekew, I completely agree with you about Nick. I have thought for a long time he wasn’t doing what was best for Rob but what was best for himself. I got so mad at Nick when I saw the vid of Rob, Tom and Sam after they went to dinner and Nick actually had the nerve to side with the pap about a couple of pics and told Rob to give him a couple.
If I had been there I would have knocked that camera out of the paps hands and bitch-slapped Nick into the middle of next week for being stupid and unsupportive of Rob.
I also think Rob needs a better publicist, the one he has now isn’t doing squat for him.

AMEN on the Nick discussion. I’ve been whining about Nick since the night Rob was forced to pose like a show dog on the night he had dinner with SAM BRADLEY and TOMSTU and had had wine and beer with dinner. It was the night he said to the Papz after he said “his HEAD WAS DOWN” in an obnoxious voice (the papz said that)…….and Rob’s reply was: “You need a new VO-CA-TION.” “You are NOT very good at your job.” I was SO HAPPY Rob stood up as it was the FIRST TIME he had spoken to the papz that we the public have heard to date.
But when nick said “JUST TWO MORE PICS” after he had already stood there and taken being photographed with no possible chance to say no…..and I literally heard rob say to nick: ‘ENOUGH’.
I don’t like Nick. But who knows, maybe Rob likes him. Nick really DOES seem to love the celebrity link via Rob. I guess it’s not an easy job for anyone though, but don’t make Rob be forced to take pics with the papz on his time off. It’s really none of my business any way. It’s rob’s decision. I just wanted to voice my opinion since you all had too.

I am actually re-re-re-re-reading Eclipse right now but the book is at home and I am not so I cannot quote specific lines for you all. But I second what you have been saying. Leg Hitch and tent scenes are mandatory. If they are cut out, I will stalk Summitt and probably wind up in jail. Seriously. There will be riots in the streets.
About BD…. Isn’t there a FF called “The Honeymoon” widely believed to be written by SM? It is still not smutty enough for my liking, but is better than BD. Perhaps, they can intergrate part of this book with the movie? They need to spice it up. I am sure Rob & Stewie would have no issue filming sex scenes. The movie really needs to be “R” if not “Mature”
If there is any “fade to black” happening with BD, it needs to be the birth scene. I love Robward, but seeing him bite out a baby would be a bit much, even for me.
One more thing… I posted this yesterday but no one replied…sniff….feel like such a loser… Ok, not really, but got your attention.
The 3 new songs Sam posted on his My Space page yesterday. One is titled “Wide Open” (I believe, I could be wrong). I swear, that sounds like Rob singing back-up. Seriously, it sounds like his haunting voice. I could also be on crack and way off base. I listened to that song 10 times and each time was more convinced that was Rob. But, I also see & hear Rob everywhere I go, all part of my addiction.
Anyone else notice this? Rob’s voice on the song? Should I shut up and go back to my corner?

Sadly, I don’t feel like it’s Rob in the background. To me, it sounds like Sam recorded his own backup & layered it beneath the song. His voice is still amazing.

Kristen it IS possible it could be Rob singing backup. He spent a lot of time with Sam the LAST time he was in Vancouver shooting New Moon. They even wrote songs together as I read often online. Rob wouldn’t have wanted credit for singing backup. Remember, he doesn’t want to capitalize on his fame from acting to do his music. It’s entirely possible Kristen. I’ve heard Marcus Foster say he’d love to tour with Rob.
Who knows…..somewhere down the road, I think Rob will pursue his music, or at least do it on the side after the madness subsides.
Okay, now that my memory has been restored & it’s not 1:00 something in the AM, I have some more scenes I want to see.
1) When Jake busts up at the school on the motorcycles shirtless & there’s that bit of tension in the air between him and Edward, all the classmates there to witness it.
2) When Jake comes back & does busts her out while Edward is away & Alice is the babysitter.
3) When E tells B she can’t go to Jake’s anymore & she tries to escape late one night. She goes out & her truck won’t start & then Edward is standing there twisting a car part in his hands and says something like, “Going somewhere, Bella?”
4)When Alice holds her hostage & Bella sees the bed for the first time, but she won’t sleep on it b/c she’s pissed. Then she wakes up and is in it.
5)This part will absolutely kill me, but I want to see it: The part where Edward says one of his greatest moments was when she agreed to marry him & then Jake howls b/c he was still listening outside the tent. Bella gets upset and says something like, “You knew he was out there?” and Edward answers with something like, “I never said I’d fight fair, Bella.”
Gosh, there are so many. I’m sure I’ll think of more later.

@Christina, love the part when she wakes up & he’s lying next to her & says something along the lines of this was the punishment he would come home to! GAH! Love that part! Couldn’t stop smiling while reading that part!

Just wanted to weigh in re the upcoming NM..I missed the new clip everyone’s discussing but it sounds sizzling. Here’s the reason for my more intense anticipation for the 2nd film…since finding out that Rob Pattinson apparently fell in love w/ KS BIG TIME and went thru separation anxiety, sadness and everything else (recently read where he texted her 400 times a day no matter where he was/is) right up until shooting started on NM, and that apparently that is where Kristen relented (spotted at Sam Bradley’s concert on a date night) and everything else implying they’re ‘on’ – - well suffice it to say, it’s making not only anticipation for the new film greater it enhances the old one as well. Knowing that he was in love – that they are in love right now…well just GrrrrrOWL.
Oh and to whoever said it…I’m a fan of jealous Robward too…I love that element in fanfics for instance, when inroduced…so the tent scene is definitely something I’m looking forward too.
I find the jacob in the book very funny, he has some great lines…and the insults for edward re bloodsucker, leech, leech-lover for bella, etc…are hilarious.
taylor in real life comes across as an osmond to me, lolol – but he can act..I thought his jake was really good in twilight.
Robward however, remains the man. I don’t like the skin tone in this one..looks TOO white…as opposed to twilight..but I’m just being a knitpicker.

Robs1Lover – I absolutely agree with your comment about Midnight Sun and the fact that SM has made a fuckton of money out of the fans and she should just get over her f*cking hissy fit and finish it – I, too, was enraged that it ended before the meadow and the first kiss.
Eclipse – yep my fav too, because it’s got lots of happy Edward. And all the scenes previously mentioned are pretty much my choices too. I also liked the scene where she has escaped on a whim to see Jacob and is driving back when she suddenly sees the Volvo (and don’t get me started on SM thinking THAT would be a sexy car, sheesh!) appear in her rearview mirror and a furious Edward driving 2 inches from her rear bumper, then waiting for her, REALLY pissed off, in her room.
Mostly, I just want to see him snog her f*cking face off though!

Holy shit, I just got home from the gym, and todays instructor was CRAZY!! After the aerobicslesson, I was totally exhausted. NAd then I had an hour of weightlifting to look forward to.. What I wouldnt do for Rob. This is for you, babe, for WHEN i finally meet you! I can FEEL the fat burning of my body, and I’m lovin’ it! And I’m gonna get so damn FIT that he can not stop staring.
Just have to remember to put a bag over my head, so he focuses on the body.. LOL

In my weight training class I heard song “faster pussycat” and nearly dropped the tool bar on my forehead during the french press thinking about that vid of Rob in Cannes. At least people only assume they know why I’m sweating & panting so hard!! Rob you’re so f*cking choice top sirloin. We’re out of food in my house better go to store before I starve my family. later.
