Let me start by saying that this isn`t really considered TwiPorn, I haven`t read it…yet but I don`t believe there are any lemons in it and you`ll see why once you read the synopsis.
Yesterday I blogged about how much I lurved Midnight Sun from Edwards point of view and how I found my way to Rob. I wasn`t alone, a lot of you really love reading the story from EPOV so I thought this would be a great story for the Spotlight. It comes highly recommended and it`s on my list of must reads.
The Darkside of the Moon by Blondie at twilighted.net- Dark Side of the Moon is my version of New Moon from Edward’s point of view (the WHOLE book). Entirely in canon, see all the things that Edward did when he was away from Bella – while she slept during those tortured nights, trying to make himself leave; where he hunted for Victoria while haunted by Bella; his reunion with her and encounter with the Volturi. Hear the the thoughts of the other characters as Edward takes his angst-filled journey.
Right now, it looks like the story will run about 18-20 chapters, and should be finished before Twicon in Dallas (man, I hope so!). Thanks to everyone for all the reviews, and if you’re a new reader, I recommend that you get a fresh box of tissues before you read.

I seriously, seriously <3 the shit out of this story. Blondie is fucking kickass at Edward's POV. Like I said yesterday, just as good, if not better than SM. As JAG stated, keep a box of tissues b/c I cried to no end in this fic. As far as I can remember, there hasn't been any smut scenes, but she runs right along with SM's New Moon so I'm thinking there won't be any either. With the last update, they were leaving Italy. It's so weird, that even though I know what is gonna happen after Italy, I'm still as anxious as I was when she began to see how Edward takes everything from here.
Once again, warning, you will cry… a lot, but it is fucking phenomenal. I consider Blondie's fic to be part of the Saga.

Considering NM is my least favourite book, I’ll definitely have to check this out. I think there should be more works out there from EPOV and not just switching back and forth.

Lastly, seriously read this damn fic people, fucking fabulous! Rob, you probably should have read it before you did New Moon. It would have been great inspiration. Oh fuck, you’d be fucking ridiculously awesome anyways, but still, a great read.

JAG – once again – you are brilliant! I too loved Midnight Sun, actually more than Twilight, and I wish to hell and back Stephenie would finish it! BUT as I was reading the blog yesterday, and the comments, someone mentioned Dark Side of the Moon, so I started reading it last night! Start out giggling like a 3 year old who just got a huge lollipop – I was so excited to read something MORE of Edwards POV. And, yep, the tears started flowing. I read up to 9 chapters before I called it a night – but plan to finish what’s there tonight. (After homework UGH!) I hate that life is getting in the way of my Robsession/Twilight Obsession!
BTW – Rob – if you come back and read more comments – while I’m so glad you’re underground right now – we miss you. Just saying. And I want to add we absolutely can’t wait to see Remember Me – I’m predicting right now it’ll be on top opening weekend – we all love you that much!

After the Twilight series I was so desperate for more. Loved Midnight Sun the best…but it drives me crazy it is not done. I read tons of other books and series, but none have me feeling happy like Twilight fan fic. Am I the only one that hasn’t read Midnight Sun? I keep hoping that SM will finish it, and I don’t want to ruin it. Of course, this hasn’t stopped me from reading all kind of fanfic that references it, so I don’t know what the hell I’m waiting for. I’ll have to add this one to my queue.
Very tempting!!! I LOVE MS …and am certain that I would love this too …but I have to say, I haven’t given in to FF yet. I am nervous it would be a slippery slope once I start and I don’t need anything else to consume my time …lol
I think she’ll finish MS. Too much fan pressure for her not to finish. I think her refusal to finish is calculating and a bunch of hype, to get the fans excited. Its not necessary because the fan loyalty is already there.
@ Christina4, I agree, its a major turn on that he reads FF. RAWR!! Wonder how often he reads it and ummm, pleasures himself to it, if he does that at all? I dont’ think he gets laid as much as we think or that he could. He’s never alone! I think I saw an interview where he said its a good read (the FF) and is quite impressed with it.

Ummm, was in line at the supermarket and I think it was US Mag who had a feature on shirtlessRob at the NM Italy shoot. I looked on pg. 60 and there was a closeup of him and Kristen for the shirtless hugging scene. The angle of pic shows that Rob is CommandoRob. He defo has no underwear on AT ALL.

rawrrrrrrr…why do I hate the fact that all these magazines are plastering him shirtless all over the planet…not like I haven’t downloaded every possible angle of that shoot and drooled and um whatever else………i’m having mixed emotions between wanting as much as I can find on him and feeling guilty that he has to basically hide and hibernate to have any peace.

I didn’t want to wake her, but couldn’t stand the few feet of space between us. Falling to one knee next to her bed, I watched as her eyes tensed ever so slightly and the smile faded. A shadow of the worried V lingered above her nose, evidence that her mind still worked on some problem, some concern. Would my presence alleviate her dreamed distress, or aggravate it?

Thanks so much for all the love! I’ve been amazed by the response DSotM has gotten – being such a sad story! I keep waiting for that great, fluffy chapter to come, but you know Edward…NM just wasn’t his favorite book. At least there’s a few happy moments in the ending sections and – though I really try to be Switzerland – some excellent Jacob bashing.
Writing Edward’s hate for Jacob is one of my favorite things. That and his fantasies about killing Mike Newton – I think there might be some of those coming up, too…8-)
